Put them on ignore. That same troll in the past claimed he/she was a gay black man which I also don't believe. Just here to cause conflict

We used to have some  conservatives here ages ago(Max comes to mind) who you could have a reasonable debate with. That doesn't exist anymore.

because y'all bash them the first chance you get

So you're a black Jew? I grew up in South Africa so I know all about the communities of black/African Jews and I'm very curious about which one you're a member of.

    Sorry.

My father is AA, who happens to be southern Baptist, and my mother is Jewish

Really?!  I never would have guessed.....

the Jewish people were in Israel long before the Arabs took over

Are you Jewish? Because unless you are, Im going to be honest and say your opinion on this subject doesn't matter.

Also, I am Jewish and will tell you that Tel Aviv is the capital of Israel, full stop. Every Jew I know accepts this and recognises this. The only people who want to keep this Jerusalem stuff going are Zionists and right wingers fetishise Israel and use the suffering of both the Jews and the Palestines to pander.

    yes I'm Jewish

Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, called Michael Flynn in December 2016 and told him to call members of the UN Security Council in an effort to stop a vote on a resolution critical of Israeli settlement policy, according to a person who was present in the room when Flynn took the call.

I don't think you can compare Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The latter was founded by Jews early in the 20th century, whereas the former has a long complicated history and is an important place for Jews, Christians and Muslims alike.

I know that's why Jerusalem is the rightful capital

    According to who?

Last time I checked Jerusalem's status is a major issue between Israel and the Palestinians. Israel has occupied the eastern part of the city since 1967 and the Six-Day-War.

how do you figure that Tel Aviv is the capital then?

I understand that feeling but PLEASE don't give into it. Every time I'm tempted to I think about the kids in the CHIP program, the people of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, the trans people in the military, the Haitians and Hondurans that they are trying to kick out of the country, the innocent people in the Korean Peninsula (including our own troops), etc... these are all people who need us to have their backs, especially now when people on the left like Susan Sarandon still won't take responsibility for what they did.

    what's the CHIP program?

This tax plan guts Medicare.  I hope they're happy when grandma dies because they no longer pay for cancer treatment.

One (of many) things that perplexes me about this SH*T-tastic tax bill is that it would appear to take control to levy taxes away from the states and local legislatures.

Wait, isn't always Conservatives/Republicans who never stop squawking about giving the individual states the right to determine their own ways of doing things?

This tax bill makes a mockery of that sentiment.

Boy when the GOP decides to dump all their beliefs for the sake of political expediency, they go whole hog!

except blue states like higher taxes because they know that red states will end up subsidizing them

  9. Trump adds 5 names to SCOTUS nominee list for future open seat

The update comes amid ongoing rumors that Justice Anthony Kennedy, 81, who has served on the court for more than 20 years, is considering retirement.

A potential announcement by Kennedy could come after Thanksgiving, according to Fox News’ John Roberts in his report on “Shepard Smith Reporting.”

Apparently, what "trophy hunting" provides is only a meager amount towards these countries GDP compared to eco-tourism, which brings in a much larger amount of money--but hey, just so Trump can be petty and overturn another Obama-era regulation while giving his whiny brats more opportunity to reclaim their lost manhood, I guess it's worth the possibility of depleting the elephant population.

anyone else find it weird Trump is encouraging the death of his party's mascot?

She has been a guest on Hannity. Hannity went from saying Moore had 24 hours to hand-waving Moore, saying it's up to voters. And now this comes out.

I think that McConnell likely doesn't want Moore in the Senate - even beyond the allegations he's mostly been a huge headache and attention whore who is only popular with the base, which is the last thing McConnell would want more of - and that all of this is happening from the Bannon side of the GOP.

I do believe her, as Franken spent 20 years in the meat factory of SNL (a horribly sexist place), and his generation of men certainly had carte blanche when in positions of power, but the timing and motivations are something I am struggling with.

Again, if this is true I think he should resign, but what bothers me is that this is being pushed by people who worship men like Trump and Moore as gods. This is essentially exploiting sexual harassment for political gain. And I have a feeling this won't be the last time either.

McConnell doesn't want Moore in because he knows that the judge would vote to get him out of his leadership position

Before I put you on ignore, this is a perfect example of why posters consider you a troll.

You were asked a point-blank, straightforward question on what you thought of the charges made against that Alabama slime but instead of answering that, you quote from a completely different post and then deflect to Clinton.

BTW, Bill Clinton and Monica were consenting adults.  Was it wrong?  Of course.  It wasn't illegal.

Moore preyed on underage girls.  They aren't consenting adults.  Can you wrap your hypocritical mind around that concept?

    Buh-bye troll

I believe if an investigation turns out that Moore did what he's being accused of then he should step down like any politician. Bill had more than just Monica
