...I came to steal clips. I heard myTracy and myLucky shared scenes yesterday, and even though I no longer watch GH, I thought that the combination was too good to pass up. So, it figures that the link wouldn't work. Glad to see my Tracy fans are still hanging in there. Hopefully it won't be a long drought with the up-coming annual you-know-what for you-know-who.

*le sigh* Why does Jane have to be so damned entertaining. The expressions on Jane's face alone made those scenes worth watching (as well as getting to see smiling sarcastic Lucky). Oh to have more Lucky and Tracy scenes. She could give Lucky his snark back.

There was no nookie. They stayed in the bar. I get the feeling that the editors got slash happy with the scenes. Lots of good talky stuff, with Tracy blurting out that she loved Luke, and a lot of musing about their marriage. I have HORRIBLE retention for dialogue.

I'm hoping it continues tomorrow, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't, and I wouldn't be surprised if scenes we want to see are sitting on the bottom of an editing room floor somewhere (okay, I know that's not how they edit soaps, but I said it for effect).

smirks, thanks for the video feedback. I was kind of worried it was going to be too simple, and yet, when I started it, I had no idea what to do with all the Ghost Alan clips I had. There's really not that many until you decide to put them to a short, only 50 second song. Then it's like, "AHH! Which ones do I use?!?"

Really, a nice big feedback is like a dream come true for a vidder. Yes, I have tonnes of ideas for a Tracy vid now that I've lost my clips. I have this great idea for a video leading up to LuNacy sex, but it might only be appreciated here. And yeah, I know all about those stupid youtube icons. Heck, it's gotten to the point that I will re-edit a video just to get a better screenshot. (PS - the one it takes is always the exact middle frame of your vid, so make sure you have a really cool scene at the middle of your vid. Blinking...just can't be helped though.

I also think your mvid is fan-freakin-tastic. I was totally feeling the song choice on that one. I don't know what exactly it is about the song that makes it rock so much, but there's something delightfully tongue-in-cheek funny about it, and also there's something about it that's smug and creepy and caper-y...yes, caper-y, it's in the fangirl dictionary. It fits Alan's mood, and the storyline all at once. I love the simplicity of the editing as well. It just moves along really nicely, so the storyline and the clip choices become the main focus of the vid, and since you did a great job picking out the clips, it's just wonderful.

Speaking of vids in general, I'd also like to pimp my own Alan tribute vid (real, live Alan...not Ghost!Alan) (Youtube link). Not as much Tracy as I would have liked, but I made sure she got in there a fair bit. Alan affected so many characters, and it's freakin' hard to find living Alan and Tracy clips.

As far as Luke and Tracy having sex offscreen, I don't think it was happening while Laura was there.

Since the verbal references have just started, I tend to think the sex has just started.

The way TG/JE played it, so awkwardly, in fact...I'd hazard a guess and say it's possible they've only done it once or so....and maybe thought they were going too fast, or were too overwhelmed when they did it, and likely took to sleeping in the same bed only, but decided to take it slow in terms of the sex.

I can see them having that conversation, even though two years is slow enough and they are married.....

I hate that ANY Lacy stuff happened offscreen, we hardly see them as it is.

BUT, I may be in the minority in that I absolutely LOVED the conversations yesterday and the way TG/JE played it.

So very tender with each other. Hmm, maybe that first time offscreen was the cut scenes from the day Luke was supposed to try and get rid of Alan? I doubt it was onscreen then either but I bet we got a shot of them going upstairs together or talking about it anyway.

The next day's scenes were just too suspect not to have something gone on the day before, if that makes any sense.

Anyway...I thought the Lacy stuff yesterday was good. I liked it.

And progress offscreen, while sucky, is better than none at all. RIGHT? Better than the one step forward, two back, kind of stuff we've dealt with for almost TWO YEARS.

I'll take some offscreen stuff as long as the onscreen stuff makes reference to it, like we got yesterday.

I agree with all of this, and I'm so glad ILTQ got here first to type all of it, because she said it better than I ever could. As much as I hate bailing out the writers, because they do indeed suck, this is the feeling I got from the scenes yesterday, and whatever has been going on recently with them with the will. In fact, I think that this is when everything started. I definitely don't think there was any LuNacy action before Alan's death, but something about them conspiring together drew them together and made them giddy...and frisky...and more appreciative. And I think that's when whatever has transpired started. And the way they were awkward about it yesterday gave me the impression that either it's a very new thing, or maybe they're 'trying' but it hasn't quite happened yet. Just my two cents.

Interesting stuff about the rape and who knew what. I wasn't around then, and since I was a teen during the whole 90's rape reveal thing (which was completely the right age to be, because of course I was introduced to GH by a friend's mother who was a huge Luke and Laura fan, so it had the right affect...sort of a "wait a minute! You said they were a supercouple, but he raped her?!!? ) But I always wondered who knew what back then.

I really hope the rape reveal redux doesn't cause any bumps for LuNacy. Quite frankly, I'd rather them not revisit it at all. It doesn't matter to me whether Lulu knows, and I don't like that they are painting Scott as some big evil villain who will tell poor Lulu the truth. But oh well...there will be Kin and Tony and Jane scenes...I'll just forget that anyone else exists in the storyline.

I will have to watch that scene again...I will admit to being somewhat entralled by a combination of the idea of Luke tucking Tracy into bed...which sent my mind other places, and being really, really amused by the look on Ghost!Alan's face. He seems so incredibly bemused that he's freaking her out...like "you thought a little thing like death would stop me from tormenting you for the next 20 years?!? Think again Tracy. *teehee*"

I agree about the more Ghost!Alan, but I also enjoyed the vet cast integration...even if it was about...*channels Spinelli* "the chair-bound one".

So....favorites:

Hair: Curls, followed closely by super-ultra-straight Hotel Fire Hair...and third would be the longer way she has it now.

Ensemble I like a good suit over the drapery. I can't think of anything in particular, except the red one she wore when she dropped Dillon off at the Q's. It said, "I'm busy, I'm stylish, I'm rich, and I just might eat your baby for dinner."

Line/speech Honestly, I love the two times I've seen her come home to the Q mansion...the first time when she insulted Lois and Justus and Brenda/Jax/Sonny, and the second time when she went down the whole family line. For serious stuff...the first banishment I saw in 93...those were riveting scenes.

Acting partner Refuse to choose. Just...can't do it. Love Tracy and Luke. Love Tracy and the Q's...inclusive...even Emily and Jason are strangely tolerable when Tracy is around. Jane makes everyone a good acting partner.

Scene One scene? I am so screwed. If I were on a computer built within the last 8 years, I would go through my Q cds and watch all my Tracy clips...but I cannot, so by default, they are all tied.

Interesting about the Eulogy...I think I actually like the shorter version better. It's more to the point, but how odd that they wrote more and ended up cutting some.

Figures the only day I am away from the tv at 3, Tracy is on. Sounds like some good scenes actually. Lunacy apears to have gone a hundred thousand times better than I thought it would. Maybe the writers do actually 'ship' Luke and Tracy after all. I was expecting yelling and blood and vengeance...not praise. I think Luke pimped our girl a little bit. I am also curious to see how the Edward/Tracy scenes pan out. I know that Jed Allen's Edward was a little more touchy feely (not in that way, you sick, sick people) with Tracy than John Ingle's Edward, so I am really interested in seeing how well that played out.

But I am tired and I just lifted three tons of Swedish furniture down the stairs, so it might have to wait til tomorrow...Tracy or no Tracy.
