ATWT Jennifer Is Determined to Go Home

Jennifer is gung-ho to leave the hospital, despite all that Lucy seems to be telling her.

Dusty, of course will be the cluless one (and I thought he was supposed to be so smart and all knowing).

Will we get to see more of the Maddie/Dallas connection? Looks like Tamara Tunie will be on briefly today, as well as Lucinda and Kim.

Today's show was so-so...hoping for more tomorrow.

Simon, as always, looks Yummy as ever :wub::wub:

The scene on the "honeymoon cruise" had me laughing. Because whatever happened to make Katie and Simon's girl fall, it sure wasn't strong enough to have the scenery or crashing to the floor or anyone else for that matter. LOL!

Lucy really is turning out to be a horrible doctor. First, she misinformed Jennifer about her baby's tests and now she slips and tells a determined Jennifer that she had the right to leave the hospital against doctor's orders. I can already picture jack-ass Dusty reaming into her now. I've never really like Grayson McCouch's version of Dusty, mostly because of the way he's written, partly because McCouch thinks he's Maurice Benard's protege or something, but I swear I find myself hating Dusty more and more as the time goes by. I find not one likable characteristic about him.

As for Jennifer, if she's so concerned about being there for her baby, wouldn't it be better for the bugger to have a healthy mom instead of one battling pneumonia and possibly near death?

I live for little scenes like Johnny's welcome party with Kim and Barbara sharing some time together. :)

-Nice no see Henry. Don't care much for Maddie's woes.

-OMG! I hope Jennifer gets well soon!!!!

I'm spoiler free and have no idea what'll become of this. I'm worried.... :(

Anytime I get a chance to see Lucinda and Kim, I'm happy....and I was even happy to see Jessica, even though it was brief and a way for him to find out that Maddie has a brother.

The first thing Jennifer did when she got a hold of Johnny was to slobber all her germs rignt on him.. Yuck

Today was good. Kim, Lucinda, Barbara, Henry, and Jessica all in one episode?

--Loved the scenes w/ Johnny's coming home party. Very cute. Too bad Dusty was there. I was laughing when he said that Johnny got his handsome looks from his father...b/c that means Craig, not him.

--Jen is stupid for going home, and Dusty is stupid for letting her. She's obviously very sick.

--Liked the convo between Vienna and Katie.

--They FINALLY showed the long opening today. Good...b/c that's my favorite one! :) They should show it at least once a week.

I hate NuLucy so I hope Dusty rips her a new one :D I can't blame Jenn for wanting to go home to be with her son who's sick, I'd probably do the same, I'd care more about my child's health than my own.

Katie still has it bad for Simon. I love how Vienna said her life is never boring, I think that was a dig by the writers since people say how boring Matie are.

WOW we actually saw Henry today and with Maddie

Although I'm not a mother, I have to put my children above all else, even my own health. The only thing that mattered to her was taking her baby home, where he belongs. JF has been rocking the house with these scenes.

I can't get enough of Simon :D

I liked the scenes between Gwen and Casey.

As for Jennifer today, I wondered why she who is obviously very sick, would want to put her child who recovering from major illness at risk for getting sick again by being around her. I understand motherly love and all but this is a little much.

Henry with Maddie was wonderful. I wish these two were able to get their own place together.

IMO, Jean Passanante is really doing a good job with ATWT. She was so-so on AMC (I heard not-so-good things from longtime fans). I think ATWT has one of the strongest younger sets on any soap I watch. I remember the Lucy/Aaron/Alison days, and they seem to be all but forgotten, but the current crop seem to work well. A good mix from different families.

Ehhh..today was alright.

Can't stand how Dusty is so sickeningly sweet towards people like Kim & Jennifer and then such a jacka-- to everyone else...I dunno, it seems like when he's being so nice, it just doesn't seem genuine at all.

Jennifer's an idiot and being completely illogical. I saw an ATWT promo during GL today concerning her story..and I have a feeling I know where this is going.

Are the writers blind??? Casey & Gwen are waay better together than Casey & Maddie or Will & Gwen.

I kinda wanna know what's up with Dallas but could care less about Maddie. I don't think I'll ever get into the character. :(

Vienna's a hoot! I actually like her more than Katie. I can't stand how high and mighty Katie is acting. Like she's never ruined any lives...

It's about time Maddie and Henry had a scene together. It's been weeks!

I think if I were in Jennifer's shoes, I would do exactly what she did... go home with my son. It may not have been the smart thing to do, but I understand.

They did make a point of saying that Jen isn't contagious, so she isn't risking Johnny. it's not like pneumonia is air bourne like the flu. I'm sure Lucy will be blamed for this, but Jen was determined to leave. She said she was going to walk out no matter what, before Lucy told her she could sign herself out, so I don't see that Lucy's comment made any difference. I'm sure Dusty won't see it that way though. This storyline is a little weak. I think most mothers would know that recovering properly and being healthy enough to take care of their child long term is more important than missing a few days. I guess I'll just have to chalk this one up to soap logic.

Jennifer was not putting her child above her health because if she were she would have known that she is too sick to take care of him properly. What if she would have fainted while holding him?
