I don't have a problem with Jen, at all, and I didn't think it was contrived or stupid. Jack pushed her to make Frankie the man in her life for almost a year now, and she finally did it, and this dope comes walking in AGAIN! Sorry, Jack, I love ya, but this whole thing was idiotic. Makes for some good wedding interuptus though. Mmmm, mmm good!

DAYS is the show to beat, this summer, IMO. Maybe not ratings-wise, but quality-wise.

Co-sign. Days has already beat the ABC shows and some of the CBS ones in terms of the depth and quality of its acting in my book. I do hope the ratings will reflect the turnaround. It's good to see quality rewarded -- and would help to keep it on air!

Just wanted to say, another really solid show..Great scenes at the hospital...Loved that Phillip finally got a clue, phillip would be so much more interesting as a villian in the story...Also the bo and shawn scenes were exactly..PR totally delivered in those scenes..

Steve and Kayla--great stuff..so much mystery and i loved the way the flashbacks set up the story of steve's dissapearance..can't wait for more...

Jack and kids--MA has totally been the star of the week, fantastic stuff...

Jenn and Frankie--good scenes..

Sami and company--filler..good ending with Lexie..

Well here's my fanwank about Jennifer. Jack's the great love of her life and she believed he was dead. She was moving on with a man she loves dearly and has all of her life. It's a different kind of love, but he's safe and he's caring and he loves her more than anything.

Re-enter Jack.

I think that Jennifer has to think of Jack as gone to her because the minute she acknowledges he's here and alive and in her life, she has to feel the pain of losing him all over again. She talks a good game of "let us take care of you and let us have this chance to say goodbye" but she's already said goodbye and she doesn't dare treat him as anything other than a temporary presence, a dead man walking. As soon as she does, her carefully constructed world shatters.

At least that's what I want to believe.

In a way, it's very much the same kind of thing that allows a man to encourage another man to love his wife. Jack thinks of himself as already dead. It's actually not so unusual for the terminally ill, distancing yourself from your possessions and the things you loved, giving things away that meant the world to you (not necessarily spouses, of course).

Wow. Never thought of this angle, but so much word! If Jack lives (I speculate he will, but who even knows, Lol), with this stuff in mind, I could so see Jennifer going over the edge.

This episode was great. The Sami/Lucas/Carrie/Austin group had me interested in them more than I have been in a while. I am so happy Shelle/Shimi/Phillip are kind of not front and center. I enjoy them more this way. And Bo and Shawn's talk was great. Loving it all!
