You expect them to show all of the cast in the little bit of time that they have for the bumpers? I like CBS's promos better because they show random actors instead of always singles, couples or triangles.

I think that's what they do, the last set of bumpers alternated each day and I think there were like 6 or 7 different ones...

I mean, I know they are the main folks who are driving the story right now, but seeing the older vets in the bumpers would be nice.

As crap as ABC's bumpers (and openings) are, the way they shot them made it where everyone could get a bumer. I remember the Quartermaines getting one a few months ago.

All of the Quartermaines (on contract) with the exception of Edward (who just returned to the show) have a bumper.

Everyone on GH has a bumper except for Lainey, Lulu, Diego, Bobbie, Michael and Maxie.

I really like the new bumpers on CBS....glad to see them change things up....

Well, they should show everyone on contract in the bumpers IMO. They do it in the credits on a rotation, so why not do the same w/ the bumpers? If ATWT has about 30 actors on contract, and the bumpers are 20 seconds each, they could do 3 sets w/ 10 or so characters. And of course couples, like Tom and Margo, Kim and Bob, Lily and Holden, Mike and Katie, Jack and Carly, etc. could go together, so it could definitely work IMO.

GL does a better job of having characters on the bumpers than ATWT does. ATWT needs to revamp its opening and its bumpers. The opening has no central theme anymore. It used to have the long opening w/ the vets in 2004 (and several other characters via family connections), which I loved, but they don't use that one anymore.

They should do the opening and/or bumpers w/ the families IMO, b/c unlike storylines, those won't change when a storyline ends or begins.

As The World Turns no longer uses the long opening b/c Kin Shriner is was in that one. When the openings are updated, I believe the long version will go back into rotation.

Um...the long opening is used maybe once every two weeks nowadays. Kin Shriner wasn't even in that opening. He was in the opening that had a longer shot of Casey and the only shot of Jessica (I think it's the one that starts with Carly/Jack). They took that one out of rotation once Kin left.

I only remember one long version. That's the one that has all the vets on it, which is why it's my favorite. And yes, we see that one once every two or so weeks (I haven't seen it in ages, in fact, but sometimes I miss the openings b/c I'm doing chores or making lunch), which really sucks b/c that's my favorite and it used to be on once a week when the new opening started.

Also, the opening that they had on today is hardly used too. They pretty much use the same two openings, which is really unfair IMO.

I also liked "The Look that's got you hooked" and how they used actresses that aren't usually featured in promos (ATWT had CZP, Ellen Dolan) plus they had Peyton List, Maura West and some others I can't remember.
