Ethan is clearly Ava's latest trade dick. And I support it tbh! It's the kind of silly shít that suits them both and could actually lead to a fun story, like all the other Ava stories they've dumped in the last two years.

5 times is a stretch! Lexi is already crawling through the vents though.

Oh, I have no hope of a Kristina/Ethan pairing. Ava is fine.

Lexi's already camped out at the studio. Filming a years worth of scenes in 2 hours lol.

We've discussed this, but Mansi was always slightly miscast to me. She had potential. It just never gelled.

Horribly. I don't think she ever recovered from Blaze and Natalia and no one was here for Kristina with Lucky, but Frank.

But I like Abigail staying dead. It keeps DAYS somewhat serious among their back from the dead stories.

They have pretty much mangled any attempt to make this character a lead for 15+ years.

So, typical GH incompetence? Honestly, soap audiences - at least by way of thinking from TPTB - are stuck in the 1950s. Conservative.

At least, that's my impression since this show likes to give the appearance of progressive behavior but actually playing it safe.

Meaning, Kristina can be sexually fluid/bi/gay (the show has gone all over the place), but in the end, no real story. And when there is a glimmer, it gets jettisoned fast. (Bye, Blaze!)

So, the only way Kristina (and Lucas) was to ever be a lead is if the show had just left her straight. To be clear? I have no problem with representation. It's needed, but the current crop of writers and their inability or lack of interest to write Kristina as a fleshed-out person with her own love life (it's a soap!) has left her with crumbs. Frank wanting the accolades of representation, without having the spine to carry through.

But I imagine that's de rigueur for all of the remaining soaps. At least US soaps.

That said, I've never been much of a Kate Mansi fan, but I wish her well. Wonder if Lexi Ainsworth would make a return? (But again, for crumbs? She'd be better off staying away.)

I feel bad for Kate Mansi, but they got everything wrong with Kristina from early on. They also wrote Kristina as much dumber than Mansi was able to sell, which undercut some of the ideas which may have had promise at one time (like her feuding with Joss over Sonny). The whole Adella story was one of the worst I can remember on GH in just how shockingly tone deaf it was and they just kept plowing on ahead in trying to make Kristina the sympathetic party against all logic. They must have assumed viewers would respond the way they would have if a Jason or a Sonny or even a Carly had been in her shoes, but fans didn't have that connection.

Given that even Michael barely has anything to do at the moment, and Sonny is snorting on fumes, it probably wouldn't hurt if Kristina is just away for a number of years, unless they want to give Lexi some work around the holidays.

Britt is there now, and I am getting the same vibes as how they tried to power through it with both KM and ELR. I just don't understand why this regime does not learn.

Being there so long puts you in a bubble, and they probably see fans as crazies or able to be brought around. Then finally they give up and move onto a new toy. With Britt it is likely even worse as they seem to think she's a fan favorite just because she has been around for years.

I like KM, but I can see why she'd opt out. I'm sure GH was surprised or they wouldn't have reopened Charlie's. The open-mic night could've worked at the Savoy.

It also makes sense why Cody was suddenly remembering finding Rick in the basement, Molly praising Kristina about her support, etc. Hopefully, it all gets exposed and sanctimonious hypocrite Kristina is run out of town for her felonious deeds.

What I wouldn’t give for Lexi to return and for them to finally do Ethina.

Kristina did tell him she was gay, so I don't see it. (But I could see the show getting collective amnesia and having Kristina realize she is back to being fluid/bi, which is insulting, but right up the show's alley.)

Kristina said she has a different type now. She didn't explicitly say she was gay. It was hard for me to read if she was joking and catching Ethan up or if she was saying she was a lesbian. I took it as she literally had different types now. Not that she only wanted women. I feel like this debate has been going on forever (not by you) and I have always thought she was fluid or bi.

I also have always thought she was bi.
