SHE DIDN'T LEAVE RIGHT AWAY. She spent night there and left the boat next morning. Here is the chronology:
1. Sophia provokes Lionel (yeah!), he kisses her, and after a short resistance, she puts her arms around his neck. She is in a yellow jacket, he is in a suit
2. A private detective instead of "good night" informs CC that the yacht is moored, but no one has gone ashore. CC breaks his cane in a rage and goes upstairs. Before that, he had remained calm and confident that she would come ashore before nightfall.
3. Lionel and Sophia show up the next morning. They aren't dressed like the day before - he is in a sweater, she is in a crimson blouse. Undoubtedly, she spent the night on board. And it's hard to believe that after Lionel's storm they fell asleep on a separate beds because Sophia was too lazy to go ashore previous night. If she had refused Lionel, she would have left immediately. She was always afraid to stay alone with him because she was losing control.
As for the fact that she's annoyed, it's typical for Sophia to pretend after sex that nothing happened.
4. After the fire, she fervently denied that anything had happened between her and Lionel (and it was truth). But now, after the boat trip, she makes it clear to Ted and Eden that it's none of their business.
By the way, she changed after that night trip. Whatever happened on the yacht, it restored her self-confidence.
But it's a hurtful that the important part of the Sophia's storyline has been stolen from us.
You're a fellow Canuck! Welcome! You understand my pain! I'll have a look and see what BFlix has, though I don't much enjoy streaming outside the "legal" platforms.
Reva has only really appealed to me during the Annie story, and even then, she's just a bit much, I agree.
A Cole/Ashley/Victoria triangle.
Marrying off Kyle and Summer and saddling them with Harrison was a mistake, especially when we didn't even see the wedding.
Why not have them happy in Milan-not everyone needs to get married at the drop of a hat. Kyle is now on his third marriage in his 20's.
As for Summer being recognized in the street..really???
Harrison should have been revealed to be neither Ashland or Kyle's.
Tara had more mileage in the character-she should be the one out for revenge not Jesse Gaines or she could have hooked up with Jesse as she would have had knowledge of him- rather than Phyllis finding out about him in 5 mins on her laptop.
The security at the Palazzo is worse than the Newman Ranch. And a few staff wandering around would have been nice.
Lily deserves all that's coming to her - a romp in the sack with Billy seems to be her go to. And where were the kids??
It was also nice to see Summer just about crap her pants and hold her stomach when Victoria told her with a smile the dress was designed by Sally. I doubt we’ll get any follow-up scenes next week but it was nice Sally finally found a moment to shine.
Why the show has never bothered to bring back Cole in some form is beyond me, especially since Peck & Heinle had worked together on AMC. To which Peck is ALSO the same exact age as Burgi but Peck always played & looked way younger.
