Paris is such a bright spot of the show. I go out of my way to watch the episodes if I notice she’s in it. She reminds me of the original Felicia with the short hair and over the top fashion. I would love to see her on a soap that would really dig in and give her something meaty because she is so watchable! This is the type of fun newbie that you want.

Now that you've mentioned it. I can totally see her in the vein of a young Colleen Dion's Felicia.

I wish they would have Paris working at Spencer. Imagine her out of Segregation Corner and having her have scenes with Bill, Katie, Wyatt, etc.,

GO, FINN!

Let Liam know how pathetic he is!!

I was impressed by Zende today as well. This might have been the best acting that he's done so far. Zoe is a total clown. The change in her character came on way too quickly.

So I watched again. Liam really is a complete a.sshole. What an unlikeable leading man.

Steffy and Hope come off as so pathetic for being obsessed with this guy that just goes back and forth between them whenever he feels like it.

I'm sure Brad Bell thinks he's found a new version of Taylor/Ridge/Brooke with this, but boy is he wrong.....

This crap is inferior in every way possible, and makes the T/R/B triangle look like Masterpiece Theatre.

Right? It would be better if SC was a more convincing leading male. I know Ross Moss wasn’t a great actor, but at least his f-boy ways could be seen as endearing to some. And of course the Logan girl is the victim.

If Scott Clifton had come of age in the ‘90s, he’d probably have a decent career as a sitcom actor and maybe even gone the goofy Ryan Reynolds route to films. But being a soap leading man ain’t his thing. He’s not untalented. But Liam is a joke. Ronn Moss was... limited, but he was completely in his element in romantic scenes with women. Probably one of the best at it, actually.

It's seems the new fashion consultant is inspired by 70's and 90's fashions. I mean Vinny look like he was ready to go to a disco. And Steffy with that hat and attire look like she was about to audition for a role on Blossom or Ghostwriter.

I passed by today and saw part of Zoe and Zende.  I hadn’t seen him yet.  Zoe was dressed in terrible garb.

For a soap about fashion, all of the women are dressed abominably!  Hope always looks like she shops at a thrift shop.

Paris is the only one in that quad with any life to her. The actress, Diamond White, has star quality. And you’re right that her radiance gives her scene partners a bit of a glow too. She has a playfulness that you can see why Zende, who is otherwise pretty stiff, would be into her.

I like LSV, but Carter is almost creepily bland. There’s not much for an actor to dig into with that role, aside from just leaning into the serial killer vibe, as the show isn’t really digging into his motivations for moving so quickly with Zoe.

I loved LSV on Guiding Light. On Bold he’s kind of dull.
Agree about Paris, she livens up the dullness.

The wigs are distracting. Both Zoe’s and Steffys.

Can they take that ridiculous weave out of JMW head?! Ugh! Speaking of which, what's with the wardrobe for Paris and why doesn't she have an accent?

Probably because they did that stupid thing with Zoe and Xander as the game to see who could lose their accent the longest and neither ever got their accent back.  I haven’t seen the Paris character yet

I have seen him a couple times since he returned.  But when I read he was coming back I called it.  He'll do more weddings and file divorce papers.  Here is maybe the best looking man on Daytime and none of the women notice him.  It's been pretty much the story of the character and it's the dumbest thing.  Meanwhile people were fighting over Liam, Wyatt, and Ridge.

How many times are we gonna watch this same exact scene of Liam begging Hope?

Until people stop watching it. I'm surprised the actor hasn't gotten sick of it. Even previous Hope got tired of the stupidity surrounding Liam.

It is disturbing how the show deteriorated. It can be called The Boring and The Ugly. I don't want to sound harsh or hateful, but once upon a time Bold was a show where you knew at least you're going to get campy drama and beautiful stunning people. This has not been the case lately. I am not saying anything about the actors... well I am actually... Liam IS NOT a leading man. His facial expressions are so limited, it's like watching a cow trying to act. It's disturbing. The new Hope is recycled Bridget. All of the dialogue is stale and unnatural, predictable and BORING. What is going on? Do the creators know the end is near, so they don't care anymore? If you go back to 2007 even, the show seems like James Cameron production.

    • A small part of me feels pity for her because she built her image entirely around physical appearance: the glam squad, the outrageous spending, the costumed designer LEWKS at every outing. Every detail on her had to be airbrushed, unblemished perfection. And now she is trying hard to keep up appearances on the glam front, but is slipping and HW Twitter is all over it.   Best case scenario: she has to shoulder a massive financial liability for years to come. Worst case: liability + prison. It's a slow moving car crash, and that's why she is willing to play the villainess on BH right now. That scene with Sutton was pure performative soap opera. If Tom was still swimming in millions, she would tell Bravo where to stick it, but she can't now.   Hubris, thy name is Girardi.     I did not see Porsha's Insta Live, so I imagine she is defending herself against charges that she is not really a social activist but more using the movement to burnish her own image? And that she didn't want to share the BLM limelight with Kandi or Kenya?   This is why Bravo's embrace of social justice has been a little shaky.  Because the expectation is that some of these women must speak from high moral authority. However, as we all know, these women are flawed. Porsha is flawed. Gizelle too. And social media jumps on any flaw and it overshadows the message sometimes. And because they are flawed, it makes us wonder... are they doing this because they care? Or for their own image?    I will say that I appreciate that Bravo is mixing up its casts and trying to embrace in its own superficial way the idea of inclusively.... I think many casts are all the better for it. As Ramona would say, it's a work in progress. And honestly, there were many things that were lacking on ATL this season, but the BLM segment was not one of them.
    • I don't think her name was ever Theresa Regina. It was Theresa Rebecca. Lloyd called her Rebecca, and Estelle called her Theresa. Everyone else (Travis, Liza, Stu, Danny & Ryder) called her TR.
    • Today's Tumblr posts include a fun story about Joan Crawford actually slapping Ken Kerchieval when she subbed for her daughter Christina on Secret Storm.     Along with this bit of casting news Those were different times when soap fans didn't bat an eye that the same year Kristina Wagner was cast as Aztec princess Felicia, we got Finn Carter playing South American Sierra.  Obviously, some people living in South America may have pale skin, blond hair, and blue eyes.  However, I would hope today's audience would see it as a missed opportunity to cast a Latinx actor.   My favorite OLTL BTS story of all time has come full circle in a just a couple of months   And filed under "fake fan questions"   as well as this one Please register in order to view this content   I refuse to believe that there are any soap fans (even in 1985) who aren't aware of "Soap Rapid Aging Syndrome" and "returns from the dead" as staples of the genre.  These questions are opportunities to comment on the stories, but I doubt their veracity.  If anyone reading this post has ever written and mailed a letter to a soap magazine (pre-email) and it got published then I would be shocked an amazed.
