She reminds me of the original Felicia with the short hair and over the top fashion. I would love to see her on a soap that would really dig in and give her something meaty because she is so watchable! This is the type of fun newbie that you want. Now that you've mentioned it. I can totally see her in the vein of a young Colleen Dion's Felicia. I wish they would have Paris working at Spencer. Imagine her out of Segregation Corner and having her have scenes with Bill, Katie, Wyatt, etc., Edited January 15 by Forever8
AbcNbc247 Members Share Posted January 15 (edited) GO, FINN! Let Liam know how pathetic he is!! I was impressed by Zende today as well. This might have been the best acting that he's done so far. Zoe is a total clown. The change in her character came on way too quickly. Edited January 15 by AbcNbc247
Antoyne Members Share Posted January 15 (edited) So I watched again. Liam really is a complete a.sshole. What an unlikeable leading man. Steffy and Hope come off as so pathetic for being obsessed with this guy that just goes back and forth between them whenever he feels like it. I'm sure Brad Bell thinks he's found a new version of Taylor/Ridge/Brooke with this, but boy is he wrong..... This crap is inferior in every way possible, and makes the T/R/B triangle look like Masterpiece Theatre.

I know Ross Moss wasn’t a great actor, but at least his f-boy ways could be seen as endearing to some. And of course the Logan girl is the victim.
Faulkner Author Members Share Posted January 15 If Scott Clifton had come of age in the ‘90s, he’d probably have a decent career as a sitcom actor and maybe even gone the goofy Ryan Reynolds route to films. But being a soap leading man ain’t his thing. He’s not untalented. But Liam is a joke. Ronn Moss was... limited, but he was completely in his element in romantic scenes with women. Probably one of the best at it, actually.
Soap-princess Members Share Posted January 15 And Ron fit the typical Bill Bell leading male which Thorsten Kaye has yet to capture.

I mean Vinny look like he was ready to go to a disco. And Steffy with that hat and attire look like she was about to audition for a role on Blossom or Ghostwriter. I passed by today and saw part of Zoe and Zende. I hadn’t seen him yet. Zoe was dressed in terrible garb.

For a soap about fashion, all of the women are dressed abominably! Hope always looks like she shops at a thrift shop.

And you’re right that her radiance gives her scene partners a bit of a glow too. She has a playfulness that you can see why Zende, who is otherwise pretty stiff, would be into her. I like LSV, but Carter is almost creepily bland. There’s not much for an actor to dig into with that role, aside from just leaning into the serial killer vibe, as the show isn’t really digging into his motivations for moving so quickly with Zoe. I loved LSV on Guiding Light. On Bold he’s kind of dull. Agree about Paris, she livens up the dullness. The wigs are distracting. Both Zoe’s and Steffys.

Speaking of which, what's with the wardrobe for Paris and why doesn't she have an accent? Probably because they did that stupid thing with Zoe and Xander as the game to see who could lose their accent the longest and neither ever got their accent back. I haven’t seen the Paris character yet

I have seen him a couple times since he returned. But when I read he was coming back I called it. He'll do more weddings and file divorce papers. Here is maybe the best looking man on Daytime and none of the women notice him. It's been pretty much the story of the character and it's the dumbest thing. Meanwhile people were fighting over Liam, Wyatt, and Ridge.
Faulkner Author Members Share Posted January 19 How many times are we gonna watch this same exact scene of Liam begging Hope?

I'm surprised the actor hasn't gotten sick of it. Even previous Hope got tired of the stupidity surrounding Liam.
divinemotion Members Share Posted January 20 It is disturbing how the show deteriorated. It can be called The Boring and The Ugly. I don't want to sound harsh or hateful, but once upon a time Bold was a show where you knew at least you're going to get campy drama and beautiful stunning people. This has not been the case lately. I am not saying anything about the actors... well I am actually... Liam IS NOT a leading man. His facial expressions are so limited, it's like watching a cow trying to act. It's disturbing. The new Hope is recycled Bridget. All of the dialogue is stale and unnatural, predictable and BORING. What is going on? Do the creators know the end is near, so they don't care anymore? If you go back to 2007 even, the show seems like James Cameron production.
