Members skiman12082004
I am just happy to see any upward trends. Things are so crazy right now and it amazes me that people still commit to watching soaps five days a week.
Members DaytimeFan
The upward trend is definitely positive. Now is the time that the networks need to be promoting their soaps during primetime. Question: What would it cost CBS/ABC/NBC to run a few ads each week to promote that their soaps are back and running 5 days a week with new episodes? What would it cost the networks to get their soap stars placement on their morning shows? What would it cost the networks to get their soap stars on the daytime shows that are filming on the same lots the soaps are? Answer: NOTHING! Ad revenues are way down, it isn't as if they don't have the room to run some marketing to support their own product.
