GH: Dee Wallace interview

Recommended Posts

I'm not pleased they killed her. I know it puts a decent bookend on the story, but I would have loved to see Tracy, Bobbie and Pat have a little more time. I'm thrilled that most of that work on the 52nd anniversary show was vets, with assist from the 'legacy kids'. Very emotional and well done all the way around.

It was waste and she was only used because of storyline rewrites….killing her off was a bad mistake…of course when does RC do anything right?

I don't get it either, what was the point of finally introducing Patricia and you wind up killing her off three episodes later

Exactly.

At least a couple more episodes to meet her new family so Valerie would be comfortable with them.

I really liked the way they wrote for Carly...she was almost a different character...

She's not a flashy enough character like Obrecht, Madeline, etc. so she has to die immediately? Dee Wallace was instantly very, very good and authoritative in her presence - not that she was some arch bitch, but she's just always very genuine and affecting in all her work. She brought a lot out of both Geary and JZ.

Pretty much. Frankly, RC cannot handle anything that isn't flashy or OTT. In fact, he prefers it.

People act like Helena wont revive her, heal her legs and use her as a pawn in her war against the Spencers

You forgot the part where Helena magically turns her from Dee Wallace into Nicollette Sheridan.

Plus, she's over 50 and not a former OLTL, ATWT or AMC star.
