Lisa has said she went back to days after not acting for so long to get back into it and see what happened, shes a smart business woman and never came across as wanting to become a lead so im sure her contract was def for a low ep but i doubt she made a ton off it either.

Some of the younger set id bet have a higher guarantee than listed but ended up being used less.

Interesting list. Thanks so much Jason. Always interesting to look at.

You can clearly tell who got a boost in the last few months. LOL.

I think episode guarantees are kinda ridiculous. I get it and why but I think the way soaps are run needs an overhaul. I'm sure massive budget changes could eventually save them money. I think there should be, yeah, some kind of episode guarantee but at the same time, a base salary of some sort so characters can be used how they need to be used. Having so many characters only allowed 8 episodes a month really isn't very good when you have 5-10 people at 12-15 a month. I guess it helps, somewhat, explain a little bit of the isolation.

Oy, sorry for the runon LOL. I don't even know if any of that made sense.

For those who haven't seen them before, here are some contract guarantees (the real ones) from 1969, 1970, 1972 and 1973:

Please note, these guarantee charts were prepared for 13-week cycles, so the guarantees are for just one 13-week cycle...multiply by four to get the annual guarantee numbers.
