A brief, already declining ratings spike on a show that is only on now because of ABC Daytime's failure in the 2 PM EST slot is not going to make dead soaps hot commodities. Other than Agnes Nixon and Wisner Washam, McTavish is probably the only writer who really made me care about AMC.
