Some of you may know about the work of the Equal Justice Initiative, founded by Bryan Stevenson-- they are most recently known for doing work with contemporary civil rights issues and working with public figures like Serena Williams who launched an advocacy outreach earlier this year.

Michael B. Jordan will be playing Stevenson in a film based on a critically acclaimed book written by Stevenson.

Robin Strasser has moved to Thousand Oaks, California, she closed on a house that has a curved staircase and a pool and several mature oak trees in the backyard, in June. She's shipped the Dorian Lord portrait out west.

She's rented out her Upper East Side townhouse:

Stay in your lane

I wish I could be Robin Strasser's tenant. She can come bother me every week, like Mrs. Roper on Three's Company. I can be her gay surrogate son and she can meddle in my life. I can't afford the place but I'm good company, Robin! Tell me about George Reinholt!

Here's a link to the LA Times story on Robin Strasser's new house in Thousand Oaks, California: 37 pictures, I'm willing to bet she's already taken a sledge hammer to most of it, but the backyard is what would sell it for many people, plus it's in a gated community and is very Knots Landing.

Renee Goldsberry did a photo diary of Hamilton the Musical's opening night for Vogue magazine. I'm mainly sharing because a some people may remember that she went through a lot in order to have a family and this includes some lovely pictures of her kids. I love the fact that the cast brought their kids to the party and her son is looking smooooooth in that suit of his.

Location, location, location. This is a simple, modest home that has no business going for a million dollars. Do not get me wrong; I like it, but in my neck of the woods (Midwest), it might fetch half that.

Like you say, it's about location. Thousand Oaks is a wonderful, extremely safe (in fact one of the safest in the USA), beautiful, well aged community that is extremely slow growing (if not static) and Robin's specific home is in a gated community, which only enhances its cache.
