I wish the show would stop trying to make Liz and Finn happen. I'm not seeing any chemistry here, besides maybe sibling chemistry. Why does Liz always have to carry these washed up dudes on her back? She should have a younger man breaking her back instead. I'm only interested in Liz/Finn if it means she ends up spending more time with Chase, who is desperate to put his newfound mobility to good use and stop acting like a monk now that his doctor has given him the all clear. She didn't get a hot girl summer so at least let her have a "Fill me up Fall." Chase should be dicking someone down on the daily, but instead he's stuck hearing about Finn's almost kiss.
Maxie acting all weird about how she heard about Sonny being alive. Why didn't she just say that Britt told her?
Wes Ramsey is on... why? Wasn't Peter shot? Why wasn't he hurt today???

I'm not crazy about Wendy's Lil Bow Peep act either this season. However, on last night's episode, Robyn and Gizelle angled for a reaction from her. And they got one. Like Candiace, they cannot cry wolf everytime they purposely go after someone. And speaking of Candiace, she's got a face full of salad coming. Her comments about Mia's mom were spiteful. It's not Mia's fault Ms Dorothy is uber-thirsty for camera time.
Karen: "Whats that tent? They doing Covid testing?"
@DaytimeFan Yass LVP and Camille! Expose the true sniper from the side! Revenge is a dish best served icey COLD.
Justine was atrocious.
I am curious why you consider Ryan's death a nadir. Do you mean the FACT he died or did you dislike the way they went about it?
My take is that while I would have tried to write an exit that left the door open for a return, PMV wanted to leave so it is not like they randomly chose to kill him off. And I thought all the scenes surrounding his passing were nicely done, the acting was on-point and the pursuit of Grant as his real killer in the months afterward was actually relatively compelling for me.
Was there criticism of the way it was written though?
On the other hand, that's the time at which they started Felicia/John and had Donna sleep with Michael again while engaged to Matt, and yes I can see why overall this could be considered as a really really time for the show. It lost a lot of heart in six months.
