I wonder if Deborah, who seemed to like ATWT (which was more of the traditional show), based on other reviews, was annoyed because the press used the Nixon soaps like a club to beat ATWT and what it stood for.

Even back then, journalists had "agendas." :lol:

Back when people could only respond through a letters page instead of a flame war. The Internet ruined us all :lol:

That's the tone of this magazine though...most of the other soap magazines at this time were just busy getting soap actresses to say why they aren't feminists, and showing people playing the guitar.

All I could do was picture Phoebe giving a lap dance to an empty chair. She's told her daughter was in a car crash and immediately goes and straddles a chair, humping and grinding and moaning...

Addie Walsh posted an amazing photo on her facebook yesterday of her home computer screen with the last episode of the show script on the screen; the writers finished yesterday. Janet Iacobuzio posted that the writers finished and that the NY POST article may not be true. Aida Croal posted on JI facebook wall that she hadn't heard of it.
