NBC's "Days of our Lives" has delivered its highest-rated week among women 18-49 in eight months while "Passions" has matched its highest rating in 10 months, leading NBC Daytime to a tie for #1 for the week of Jan. 2-6 among women 18-49. "Days" tied for #1 as the week's top-rated daytime series among women 18-49, its highest rank in five weeks. NBC was #1 outright for the week in the women 18-34 category, marking the network's 312th consecutive weeklong victory in this valuable demographic. "Days" and "Passions" are the #1 and #2 ranked daytime series for the week and season among women 18-34. For the week, "Days" (2.1 rating, 12 share among women 18-49, 2.3/14 among women 18-34) tied for #1 among women 18-49 and was #1 outright among women 18-34, marking the 535th time in 543 weeks "Days" has topped the women 18-34 list (including ties). Among women 18-49, this was the highest-rated week for "Days" since last April 25-29. For the week of Jan. 2-6, "Passions" (1.6/9 among women 18-49, 1.9/11 among women 18-34) tied for #6 in the women 18-49 race and was #2 in the women 18-34 category. Among women 18-49, this was the highest-rated week for "Passions" since Oct. 24-28 and equaled its highest since last Feb. 28-March 4. I predict either a small gain for DAYS and PSNS of like +.1, their numbers remaining the same or slight drop for both shows. Damn that Wednesday, if DAYS would have got a 2.8, they would have went up. The Y&R/B&B episodes don't count because no other soaps aired on that Monday.
