Suzanne Marshall (Maggie Gillis, SB) says she did a screen test for Holly on GH. Julianne Moore said she initially auditioned as Sierra, and met with Bob Calhoun. Her agent told her they wanted her to test for Frannie instead. Mary Kay Adams said she auditioned for Nurse Emily Benson on AW right before she auditioned for India. Cat Hickland auditioned as Laura on GH when Genie Francis was leaving, and as Celia Quartermaine. Grant Show auditioned for Frisco on GH, which helped get him cast on RH. Amy Gibson went down to the wire with Lauren Koslow for Y&R's Lindsey Wells. That role was originally Cody and was written as a big strapping western type who would contrast to Mason.It was redeveloped into Jeffrey to suit Kettle. It's strange when you see so many actors who would go on to big things, in soaps or elsewhere, all testing for the same nothing part. All those actors tested for Ben McKinnon, who was barely even on AW.
