Its disappointing how everything is shaping up for a happy ending. Nothing "bad" really happened this season As much as I enjoyed Littlefinger finally getting his, it would have ben a better twist had he realized his back was against the wall, killed Sansa and then framed Arya for it. Members DRW50 Posted December 6, 2017 Members Share Posted December 6, 2017 (edited) The writing for Stannis was awful and very confused, and as was often the case with D&D, they struggled to hide their disdain for the character. It's a shame Stephen Dillane blames himself because he did the very best he could have done. The Dragonstone group could have been so much stronger and more compelling than they were, much more than overexposed show ponies like Tyrion and Arya. Gwendoline Christie of course returns as Captain Phasma. Meanwhile, Emilia Clarke is co-starring in next year's Han Solo prequel.
