He gets good people, and it’s wonderful to take this walk down memory lane. But it’s indeed frustrating to see him so often get in his own way and also not adjust his approach. He’s not very intuitive about when to interject with comments from the audience and when to let things flow, almost like he’s not very present or even really listening. Sometimes I feel like he’s uncomfortable not contributing to the conversation when it’s like, hey, we’re glad you organized this, now just take a backseat and let your participants chat amongst themselves sometimes. We’re here for them, not you. I agree. I’m so happy he is doing these that I can overlook the not-so-great interview skills. I was watching an episode from 1992 last night and counting how many actors from then he has brought on to his reunions and it was practically everyone who is still alive. I think it’s so great and thanks to him, I’m reinvested in a soap I watched 30 years ago. I do wish he’d let them drive the conversation though (and come up with some new questions). I don't like Alan using a green screen and popping his logo in. It is very distracting. Also it seems Alan audio is lagging. Judi looks great!

Bwhahaha...that pictue is so 1984 and I cant make fun of him as I laugh at my own pics from that time. I do love these reunions of all the actors without makeup or lighting...aging hits all of us. 15 minutes ago, victoria foxton said: Alan looks like his getting a BJ. So glad that Judi has recovered. Soapsuds Members Share Posted October 22, 2020 Grant talk was awkward Lots of love from Judi Evans for John Bolger.
Faulkner Members Share Posted October 22, 2020 Yes, so happy that Judi is looking well and hope she continues to improve. It’s so funny: I find Vincent so endearing in interviews (love the beard) yet so off-putting in his roles. I’d love to see him play something very light and not smug and/or supercilious. DramatistDreamer Members Share Posted October 22, 2020 (edited) Both Judi and Vincent seemed genuinely grateful for the reception from the fans over the years. It was entertaining and heartfelt. I liked how at times, both actors gently but firmly steered the conversation, so they wouldn't be rushed, as Alan can sometimes switch to other topics rather quickly. Did my ears deceive me, or did Alan sort of imply that there was something focusing on Beverly McKinsey down the road? Perhaps her son will be a future guest? allmc2008 Members Share Posted October 23, 2020 I was reading that Marty West's Shayne's bare butt was shown. Is that true? Any evidence, please? He's hot AF. Did anyone else from that time show their butts? Evidence, please!!!
