I actually believe Guza does really love GH, at least he's always come off that way in interviews dating back to 1996. But, of course, that means nothing if it doesn't actually show on screen.

He's never going to land a massive career in primetime, he might as well accept that he'll always be known for his work on GH.

If he's fed up with GH, then he should leave, like he's done twice before.

Or he likes his own vision of what GH is and what it should be. Something that only lives in his head and something that has never come out of it. At least not successfully.

If Models Inc was any indication what Guza would do in primetime, I'm glad he never had a successful primetime career. I believe he was the Executive Story Editor on that show, and yeah, it sucked - really badly.

I'm not sure I would now.

What a dumb concept for a show IMO, with horrible dialogue, craptastic actors, and stories that tried too hard to be over the top, but were for all the wrong reasons. Thankfully, it was a flop.

I think it's become general Guza discussion by now...

I don't remember everything about Models Inc., but I also loved the show. It's a shame it didn't survive.

GH reflects Guza, the same way that B&B reflects Brad Bell. Neither man thinks that there is anything wrong with their shows. It is the audience that will come around eventually. For years, GH has consistently been a badly written mob story with dominant misogynist unrepentant men and it will never change.

I can't remember the dialogue nor any of the stories, I just remember a feeling. And that is that I loved it back then.

I re-watched it a few years ago, I believe when the Style Network was rerunning the series. Bad, just bad.

But I suppose if you're into badly written trash, it's for you.

There's trash that tries to hard - Models Inc.

Then there's trash that's just effortless, like season 3 of Melrose Place.

But wait a minute — you don't like a show about a behind-the-scenes goings on in a modelling agency?

It's probably a terrible show, I just don't know why I liked it back then. But I did.

That concept alone is one big 90's cliche.
