Rinna, Dorit, and to a lesser extent Kyle, were sitting there gaslighting Garcelle into having an emotional breakdown. And once they emotionally broke her, they said their usual crap about being open and 'vulnerable' and that they could now be 'closer' to her. It reminds me of a cult. They need to destroy each other till they are emotional wrecks so that they can be wrecks together.
The only person (aside from Sutton) who I think appreciated what Garcelle had to say was Kathy.
Speaking of Kathy...
Heaven forbid! Angie Perrini was one of my favorite characters of all time, and I would hate to kill off Joey. However, the same story could have been told by just killing Dr. Dunning, and revealing that he had stolen Sally's baby, fathered by one of those other guys. Evil Nurse Emily Benson could have been motivated by her misplaced devotion to Dr. Dunning, her attraction to Peter, and her hatred of Sally.
And of course, in my fanfic, Kevin Thatcher would later return with his lover Cory Ewing - (they were distant adopted cousins who raised apart so it avoids the ick factor) - as the new architects for Frame Construction in charge of renovating the Cory Complex (along with the Aunt Liz memorial water-cooler/gossip hub).
Yeah it was one big hole in the plot but I understood she was married to a count and during the revolution she lost both him and her title? But she insisted in still being called countess
By the way the Mendorra storyline was any good?????
