Pence has never been that financially stable outside of politics. When he first ran for Congress he paid his mortgage with campaign funds. He could write a book telling what happened behind the scenes in Trump's presidency and generate some money. This might be wrong, but I am convinced that Pence was running the country for the final couple of weeks before the inauguration.

I agree with you. I believe that at this point Trump is so delusional and cognitively impaired that he's just living in a dream world. Losing the election probably cut the last cord tethering him to reality.

As for Pence, I expect him to start a church or lean into fleecing Evangelicals in whatever way he can. Although I'm not sure how Evangelicals feel about Pence now that he didn't overturn the election.

But, he'd make more with that reality series/sitcom I pitched earlier.

At this point a sitcom wouldn't be a crazy idea. It's less insane than the past few years.

I don't think they're too thrilled with him at the moment, lol.

I could see Mike Pence maybe starting his own church.  I do believe this much: I don't see his and "Mother"'s marriage lasting too much longer.  I think she was even less thrilled than Melania to live in that kind of fishbowl for the past four years, and I think that put enormous pressure on her and Mike's union, too.  So, while I'm not saying it's a GUARANTEE that the two will end up splitting, I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen.

I think at least some within the Biden administration have learned their lesson from what happened at the start of the Obama era, when Democrats tried to cooperate with Republicans and got nowhere.  They know we can't afford to sit around and wait for these changes to happen, or for Republicans to go along with them.  Because, the GOP would be happy just to drag their feet until 2022 or '24 and let the Democrats hang themselves.

In addition to that history, Biden also has less onus on him as he is, let's face it, white. An old white man can get away with power moves against the GOP that the first Black president struggling not to be pigeonholed as the angry Black man could not.

"Former Vice-President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, are finally out of the White House and ready to begin the next chapter of their lives.  But, first, they'll have to move out of their daughter's basement.

"THE PENCES.  Coming this fall to ABC."

    • Have been scrolling through a site with random old Australian TV listings and discovered that ATWT aired in primetime in Sydney on Ch 7 in 1974! It's from Thursday Nov 28th at 8.30pm, This is the blurb... Carol returns home and asks Tom to give up Natalie Bannon's case. Grant and Joyce have a showdown and Grant decides not to divorce her until she has fully recovered. So it seems not to far behind the US storylines. Quite frankly I'm surprised that Oz execs would take to a daytime soap that had been running for nearly 20 years and expect viewers to be interested. Meanwhile the same channel was airing DOOL, Y&R and GH during the day. The Melbourne listings for the same evening do not have ATWT in the schedule, in fact the entire schedule was different. So it looks like ATWT was Sydney only exclusive. Wonder if it was nightly and how long it lasted?
    • Ahem, did we know that Tanner Novlan (Dr. Finn Without Personality) is married to actress Kayla Ewell who starred on B&B from 2004-2005 as Caitlin Ramirez (daughter of Sydney Penny and Lorenzo Lamas) who was Thomas' first teen love!?   We now go back to your regular scheduled programming in session...
    • I love me some Lauren but had to laugh at her lecturing Sally and Summer on women treating women well. Send them an ice cream sundae why don’t you Lauren?
