Well it's all kinda rumours (much like the rumour that Rex was brought on to be gay or bisexaucl and involved with Seth which is why they shared so many odd glances at first). But form what I heard, Malone really wanted to do a Don't Ask Don'T Tell military gay story. When the first Paul Cramer was brought on (pre babyswitch etc) there was some hinted connection that he knew CJ Roberts who I thinkw as missing--maybe thru his time overseas and the rumoru was they were going for a secret fromance

JT perfect 'cause you've seen his booty on Nip/Tuck? :) Because, honestly, I don't see anything in his backstory that would make him perfect for his...Brad neither.

ETA: If they wanted to give Victoria a total breakdown, it would be kinda funny if she walked into a room one day and saw her two ex-husbands, Brad & JT, doing each other.

On Passions, there was absolutely nothing in Chad's earlier years on the show that indicated he enjoyed boinking men on the side. But JER certainly changed that! J.T. has pretty much had ZERO backstory so it wouldn't be a stretch to reveal him secretly boinking guys.

Perfect because they could tell the Victoria resents being a married mother and throws herself into work making JT have to parent 24/7 and start to hate his life. He could easily be at a bar and a guy hit on him and he go for it.

also, whats to say he ahsnt done a boy in the past? he was a horndog.

I wonder if Todd's technique has improved any since 1993...I remember vividly that a few weeks before the infamous gang rape, he and Marty had a fling, and afterwards Miss Saybrooke rather acidly told Manning that he was lacking in SEVERAL areas in the bedroom...that sex with him had been the worst she had ever experienced in her life! Those comments just about pushed the psycho over the edge...and we know what happened next.

Based on what I heard about it it was pretty interesting too. Guy is married and religious. Can't stand away from the gay guy. Jealousy. Wife finds out. Wife starts to scheme against husband to cost him custody of the child, including spying on them (well thank you lady, your work is much appreciated).

There are some more pictures from the story here: http://www.afterelton.com/node/19096

I was struck by hoe soapy it was. Be tender one moment, then accuse each other of ulterior motives the next, the wife telling her husband, sure, hang out with your friend, the clueless annoying wife the t-shirts who makes you almost have sympathy with the cheating, the "I won't leave my wife" and "I love you so much, I can live with being just an affair" scenes.

    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)
