That’s what the show wanted us to think-that Charity sealed the deal for Moira and Cain. I’m just finding this latest twist so incomprehensible and out of character for Moira that I almost believe that one of the big storylines for Emmerdale in 2018 is a Faux Moira storyline. I would buy it if she wasn’t so resolute about Cain over the past few months. Everything she was telling Faith and others was the truth-they could never work long term as a couple. Members DRW50 Posted February 6, 2018 Members Share Posted February 6, 2018 It was three, so even worse I do enjoy the episode (especially the portions with Emily, one of my favorite Emmerdale characters), but I can see why many would not. Peter Amory was so underrated as Chris. I forgot about Shadrach (or at least I really tried to... ) Chris was such a complex, fascinating character. There's no way that they will be able to make Joseph anywhere near his father. The writing is so much more shallow now, like the characters. The Tates were such exceptional characters, all of them, that it's no wonder that no-one has been able to live up to their legacy at Home Farm. Which is why it's so sad that someone like Kim is mostly remembered as the super-bitch of Emmerdale. I’m assuming Sandy and the character played by Wendy Craig will go off into the sunset together so that would be nice.
