Guys, I think this was from last week, but can anyone give me the airdate of the episode where Dorian enters the meeting with that hat? I am a little behind and I think that would be the perfect place to start from.

I was so happy to see Susan Haskell play Marty! She is so beautiful and I love the way she played her scenes with Todd. That was CLASSIC soap opera.

I love Todd and his new boy-toy... lol... As a matter of fact I love Todd with everyone... except Starr. These teens don't work for me at all.

Todd, Rex and Charlie are my top-three male characters.

I am afraid that Tina's return means less time for Lindsay... I always thought these characters were similar and I was hoping that Miss Hickland was hired to play Tina when it was announced that she was joining OLTL. However, Tina belongs in Llanview and I can't wait to see what RC plans for her.

RC really loves this show. I wish there were more writers like him around. He has brought this show back to life!

Such an exciting friday show and a great cliffhanger with Todd's henchman snatching Marty..So glad Andrea Evans and Susan Haskell are back on the show..And Kevin S. has a fun role, nice seeing him as a bad guy..

and i was loving Todd today...I'm excited as to what he will do to Marty and whether she will end up possibly falling for him...OLTL continues to rock on..

Andrea Evans = Love. I loved how she kept saying "BULLETS WERE FLYING!"

I enjoy Cole so.much.more. when he's not being Starr's bitch. When he started talking about the rollercoasters with Langston and Markko, I felt like he could be a fun character, but he immediately fell back into the Starr's bitch territory. Her getting pregnant was the worst thing that could happen to him.

And, I swear, if they dumb down Langston and Markko to make Starr and Cole look more mature/responsible, I'm gonna make some bullets fly myself.

I thought so too, just because he was doing it for Todd. The idea of Marty helpless and in Todd's control is disturbing. I'm surprised Keyes when along with Todd's command to not call an ambulance. He seems like he has a mind of his own and won't blindly take Todd's orders.

Speaking of Todd, I wish we could get a Todd/Jess scene about Nash's death.

I think this should happen, but absolutely no kissing or sex and the second her memory comes back she needs to hate him more than ever and do something to make him pay. It's really too bad that Todd raped Marty because I think SH and TSJ are going to have major chemistry, but I will be very unhappy if the show ever tries to put them together.

    • I like that there are a lot of local performers on this soap and I'm glad they've resisted so far on hiring too many soap performers.   Cady has been awkward on the show thus far and Jon seems to have polarizing as well. I say focus on the local talent and giving those people a job and exposure.. and leave the P & G soap opera performers in the past.
    • Who do you think would be good for the show among the ATWT/GL cast?

about it I think Jan is a fine supporting part for a solid daytime vet (probably someone from the P&G soaps), as opposed to someone from the production location who is clearly cheaper. Which seems to govern some casting. I get the rationale, but I would start going through the ATWT/GL, etc. rolodex myself.
    • I dont mind Jan. She's good in the minor capacity she is used.
    • tbqh I don't care about Jan, I don't care about Ashley and I think Jon Lindstrom as Joey is an acquired taste. Jon is a great actor but certain things are in his zone and then some are not. Some days I find Joey credible and compelling, but the stuff with him hanging around the Golden Corral, grumbling about Doug and bitching at Randy is not amazing. If he had material on par with what MVJ wrote for Ryan/Kevin on GH back in the day it'd be a different story. I do think he has real chemistry with Vanessa, which is in large part due to MVJ clearly molding that character (and hiring an appropriate actor) in the Lucy Coe vein when she reinvented Lucy in the '90s as well. But I am not here to spend 6+ months watching Jon glower a lot (which is what he's doing half the time to carry weak story) and make more vague dire pronouncements while Jen Jacob gets flustered and weepy over "Daddy" or whatever would come of that storyline. Putting them together sounds like a recipe for doom to me. But I may be in the minority on that.
    • I know this will never happen. But... Halle Berry as Dani Dupree(BTG). She would rock this role, it's in her wheelhouse.
    • When I see how bad the Ashley/Derek scenes are, I know there must be a larger purpose and Joey being her father is the thing that makes the most sense.  My take on it is that Ashley knows Joey is her father but doesn't know Joey. Maybe he was there when she was a child or just not around at all but I believe Jan when she says she didn't lie to her daughter about who her father was. Maybe she left him when she discovered his dangerous lifestyle.  I do think they could really jump start the character of Ashley if they hurry and do this. Jan is a great character and her scenes with Ashley have been helpful. This would further integrate Ashley into the canvas and give her something dramatic to do. With her working at the hospital along with Doug, it could lead to complications if she learns Doug is involved with her father. I just need is sooner rather than later because Derek is tanking her character. I need a distraction.
