Good episode. I flove Tina already. Anybody who can just strut around when there's a dead body on the floor is a true diva.

The scenes in the park were very heavy-handed, I think, but I still liked them. Brandon Buddy is a better actor when KA isn't around. Cole is a better character when Starr isn't around. So......break them the [!@#$%^&*] up! And I agree with whoever said BB has a nice ass.

I already said what I have to say about Gigi and Rex yesterday and after today's show, the sentiment is the same.

Haha......that's right. See, I told you some of the details in my head were fuzzy. They were both in pink dresses if I recall (haven't watched the clip yet).

Somewhat off-topic, I can't wait for my OLTL 40th Anniversary Trivia Book to arrive. Not long before it will be released. :)

It's A M A Z I N G to see Tina back with Andrea Evans. I have been craving this for over five years, and then of course over the 18 years that she's gone though Tina herself has been on the show afterwords. This is like a dream come true. Just seeing her, see her diva-isms and that the show has chosen not to just make her a casual return and has thrown her into a SL, BRILLIANT! I'm glad they got rid of Ramsey, never got thru to the character and I'm glad he didn't become Spencer II. I'm not a fan of Hunt Block either.

Anyways Tina back has been awesome. Andrea Evans is awesome. I only wish Fiona Hutchison was here with her. It would be wicked to see a Gabrielle/Tina reunion.

And Susan Haskell. WOW. This show continues to be on fire. These past 3 days have been back to back action and its so much better when you're spoiler free. I'm glad the show double-packed the returns too. Just awesome. Keeping my faith in soaps alive!!

Just catching up with this week's episodes and Ilene Kristen, Brian Kerwin, Melissa Fumero, and John Paul Lavoisser (sp?) are bringing it. After the campy unevenness of last week, it's nice to see some solid, emotional human drama on the show again.

I agree MTSr. I watched that show again before today's and those scenes were very real, a lot more to them than I had noticed on my first viewing. We all think of Roxy as comic relief but IK especially turned her usual characterization into something very moving. I think I felt for her the most.

I found today's show to be enjoyable enough, still ahead of the other 7 in the pack. Just tired of GH style gunplay and murder on soaps. Tina in the powder room was hilarious, as was "davids vickers". Todd was more interesting than usual and I'll credit that one to both his interest in Tina and his interaction with this Keyes guy, who I suddenly kind of like. He needs to lose the shades. Losing the shirt once in a while would help too.

Always like the little stuff, even when it's BIG stuff, like Shaun and Keyes.

This Marcie/ Starr stuff (I say stuff too much) will go nowhere in my opinion. Sure Starr will consider it for a while and it will cause what the fanbases like to call "angst" (I hate that word) but that won't be the final result, in my opinion. It's not what fanbases like to call "endgame" (another term I hate, yet I use it as SOAP shorthand)

I acutally hope Star giving Marci her kid IS the endgame. it makes much more sense to me from a "real" pov.

I do agree the gunplay was random and kinda silly/forced--two randoms realize that the crown jewels are at Ramsey's and break in RIGHT then? (Or were they folowing Tina?) Tina's US government friend RANDOMLY shoots out the window at someone not knowing if he's a police officer or what? John goes up the stairs to see waht's there and doesn't go all the way in to find Marty? I expect more from Carlivati and OLTL - yes I love when they use soap clichs for good--ie drawing out a reunion (though I could care less abotu John and Marty anyway) but come on...

Otherwise as usual good episode ;)

I really was surprised how much I've enjoyed the show this week. My girl has only been on one day so far and yet I'm watching just about everything every day. I have loved seeing Tina again. She hasn't changed a bit. I totally can't wait to see some interaction with Tina and Viki. And, that Keys is a hoot to watch. I really like the chemistry with him and Todd. Todd works well with a straight man to his craziness. It almost reminds me of Todd and Bigalow. Now, I want a David Vickers dog of my own. :P

about it I think Jan is a fine supporting part for a solid daytime vet (probably someone from the P&G soaps), as opposed to someone from the production location who is clearly cheaper. Which seems to govern some casting. I get the rationale, but I would start going through the ATWT/GL, etc. rolodex myself.
    • I dont mind Jan. She's good in the minor capacity she is used.
    • tbqh I don't care about Jan, I don't care about Ashley and I think Jon Lindstrom as Joey is an acquired taste. Jon is a great actor but certain things are in his zone and then some are not. Some days I find Joey credible and compelling, but the stuff with him hanging around the Golden Corral, grumbling about Doug and bitching at Randy is not amazing. If he had material on par with what MVJ wrote for Ryan/Kevin on GH back in the day it'd be a different story. I do think he has real chemistry with Vanessa, which is in large part due to MVJ clearly molding that character (and hiring an appropriate actor) in the Lucy Coe vein when she reinvented Lucy in the '90s as well. But I am not here to spend 6+ months watching Jon glower a lot (which is what he's doing half the time to carry weak story) and make more vague dire pronouncements while Jen Jacob gets flustered and weepy over "Daddy" or whatever would come of that storyline. Putting them together sounds like a recipe for doom to me. But I may be in the minority on that.
    • I know this will never happen. But... Halle Berry as Dani Dupree(BTG). She would rock this role, it's in her wheelhouse.
    • When I see how bad the Ashley/Derek scenes are, I know there must be a larger purpose and Joey being her father is the thing that makes the most sense.  My take on it is that Ashley knows Joey is her father but doesn't know Joey. Maybe he was there when she was a child or just not around at all but I believe Jan when she says she didn't lie to her daughter about who her father was. Maybe she left him when she discovered his dangerous lifestyle.  I do think they could really jump start the character of Ashley if they hurry and do this. Jan is a great character and her scenes with Ashley have been helpful. This would further integrate Ashley into the canvas and give her something dramatic to do. With her working at the hospital along with Doug, it could lead to complications if she learns Doug is involved with her father. I just need is sooner rather than later because Derek is tanking her character. I need a distraction.
