I dont dislike Starr/KA but BB's acting makes his character boring. What is weird is that I caught him on youtube at charity events and what not and I know he has a great personality but it does not show on screen.

I do not necessarily hate the teen storyline but it is not my cup of tea. The abortion s/l does have its moments like on Monday where I was at the edge of my seat wondering if Todd was going to catch Starr but the moments are far and few between all the airtime that s/l is getting.

Wednesday's show was eh, not much to say about it except what was going on with the camera work? Was it a hand held? I could not sit through the show because I was getting sick to my stomach with all the shakey movement.

Yeah, that thought occured to me, too. Even still, I figured the responsibility of being a father would-- at the very least-- give him pause. That would be more realistic. Or maybe the goal is to show Starr and Cole jolt to reality when the baby arrives. I hope there's no miscarriage ahead. They love to throw in a miscarriage to clean up a SL they don't intend to see through to the end; create all this angst around a pregnant teen and then write a miscarriage so things can be BAU (business as usual); annoying as all he!!

Rex & Gigi!!!

Jared and Natalie were pretty hot, too!

I love that Shane kid. If Marcy hadn't cut him off, he'd have told Adriana where she can get off.

That Brody is hot! I wonder if he thinks Shane is his biological child. We shall see.

I really like Robert Woods' and John-Paul Lavoisier's acting styles. It's very natural and believable. Actually, in my opinion, the acting talent on this show is fantastic; nearly everyone is very natural with their acting choices and believable (even Cristian and Antonio have been better lately). Maybe it helps that the story lines are believable.

I miss Viki and Charlie also. I think once RC scripts return the show will be more balanced between all characters and s/l's they way it was before he left.

I am thinking it is part of the ruse but would they use Jamie like that?

These two + Viki and Charlie are my favorites. Now that is how you do "LOVE in the afternoon" Friday CLIFFHANGERS! One couple sucking face and the other on the verge of it

Brody is very HOTTTT!

I agree with the acting styles and choices on OLTL. The actors all seem comfortable with one another as a cast and the interactions come across as natural. If that makes sense!lol

OH and have to give a shout out for the SAUNA scene with Todd/Blair and Christian!! Todd flashing Cristian was funny!!

Shane is so smart. I love that he sees Adriana for the evil hateful bitch that she is.

Loving the way Gigi's looking these days. The makeup and hair look stunning on her and she looks better than when she first joined. Love her and Rex

I dont think Brody is hot but his body sure is. He looks fit but not so keen on the face. He needs to shave so I can see teh man underneath.

Love Jared and Natalie too. Those two are hot. That kiss was steamy. I was wondering who Marcie and Shane were going to catch. These two or Gigi/Rex. I definetly expected someone to walk in on Jared/Nat

Absolutely, love Viki & Charlie; everytime they're together, it puts on smile on my face. I'm loving that the older sets have romances, too-- a very rare thing in soaps these days. In reality, the older folks date, too and they're perhaps more mature about it.

And TOTALLY agree about Friday's cliffhanger-- steamy and heart pounding. I hadn't seen a cliffhanger like that in a good while (instead of a shooting or someone's about to tell the truth. Nothing wrong with a good ol' fashion suspenseful kiss and some serious tongue hockey. LOL

ITA about Todd/Blair/Cristian scene. When he flashed Cristian at the end, that was too funny!

about it I think Jan is a fine supporting part for a solid daytime vet (probably someone from the P&G soaps), as opposed to someone from the production location who is clearly cheaper. Which seems to govern some casting. I get the rationale, but I would start going through the ATWT/GL, etc. rolodex myself.
    • I dont mind Jan. She's good in the minor capacity she is used.
    • tbqh I don't care about Jan, I don't care about Ashley and I think Jon Lindstrom as Joey is an acquired taste. Jon is a great actor but certain things are in his zone and then some are not. Some days I find Joey credible and compelling, but the stuff with him hanging around the Golden Corral, grumbling about Doug and bitching at Randy is not amazing. If he had material on par with what MVJ wrote for Ryan/Kevin on GH back in the day it'd be a different story. I do think he has real chemistry with Vanessa, which is in large part due to MVJ clearly molding that character (and hiring an appropriate actor) in the Lucy Coe vein when she reinvented Lucy in the '90s as well. But I am not here to spend 6+ months watching Jon glower a lot (which is what he's doing half the time to carry weak story) and make more vague dire pronouncements while Jen Jacob gets flustered and weepy over "Daddy" or whatever would come of that storyline. Putting them together sounds like a recipe for doom to me. But I may be in the minority on that.
    • I know this will never happen. But... Halle Berry as Dani Dupree(BTG). She would rock this role, it's in her wheelhouse.
    • When I see how bad the Ashley/Derek scenes are, I know there must be a larger purpose and Joey being her father is the thing that makes the most sense.  My take on it is that Ashley knows Joey is her father but doesn't know Joey. Maybe he was there when she was a child or just not around at all but I believe Jan when she says she didn't lie to her daughter about who her father was. Maybe she left him when she discovered his dangerous lifestyle.  I do think they could really jump start the character of Ashley if they hurry and do this. Jan is a great character and her scenes with Ashley have been helpful. This would further integrate Ashley into the canvas and give her something dramatic to do. With her working at the hospital along with Doug, it could lead to complications if she learns Doug is involved with her father. I just need is sooner rather than later because Derek is tanking her character. I need a distraction.
