Her performance as always has been underwhelming. I actually think her and Burton's "work" has been awful in this storyline. This storyline has just shown how far Burton's acting has deteriorated since he first came on. LW has yet to do anything for me that shows she is truly distraught over Micheal's perma-coma. Carly should be DYING inside but I have yet to see that.

That's because she was not lead on GL. She was a supporting actress. On GH she is lead actress. I am sorry but she cant pull it off.

LOL....love ur comment.

OUch....brutal but true.

I agree. Acting like a 35 year old stuck in high school is not "acting." It's pathetic.

She may not be overatted, but she's definitely overrated.

Interesting... I used to do the same thing with Tamara... "what would Sarah have done?" But it took LW's horrid potrayal of the Carly character to make me appreciate Tamara's subtle nuances in playing the role. I've come across old tapes I have from 2002 when Tamara was finding her groove, and she was brilliant, I must admit. Certain subtle choices she made in the least obvious of moments... I was too busy missing Sarah to appreciate her back then. Now, after having continuous earbleeds from LW, I totally appreciate her now.

I shudder to think of what Tamara would have done with this storyline. LW is way better than she would have been.

LW for the first time in a long time is making me feel Carly. She is finally becoming Carly to me, and that's saying something since everytime I see Sarah Brown I see Carly LOL

I've tracked Laura's career all the way back to Loving, and to be honest I've never really viewed her other than just your run of the mill soap actress. Not particularly great, not particularly bad. Just average. She just yells and screams a lot...not sure if that's her choice or the director's, but she is never subtle. And before people chime in and respond that the character is not supposed to be subtle, a good actor can infuse subtlety into an over the top role. It's like playing a drunk. Good actors can play it subtlely; lesser ones will be all over the map. Anyway, I was hoping that she would step up her game on the Michael shooting storyline, but so far it's the same old, same old. I'm not comparing her to any of the other actresses who've played her. I will give her this...she has more chemistry with Ingo than any of the other actresses would've had.

    • Is the set for Lulu's new house an updated version of the set used for the childhood home of Luke, Bobbie and Pat Spencer?
    • I feel like AMC would be the easiest of their soaps to revive but a reboot seems cursed at this point. I wish we had more insight on what was pitched for the primetime reboot as well as these movies. That would give us a better idea of why it keeps getting shot down.
    • Mansion of the Damned sure is a "talkative" horror movie.  In the past when I've watched those episodes, I was paying attention to The Edge of Night characters and not really zeroing in on the rehearsals/blocking/filming of the actual movie.  This time I've been following the plot of Mansion of the Damned pretty closely, and all I can say is Hester Atherton and Nicholas Harriman are about the most chit-chatty Witch and Devil I've ever heard in my life!
    • Ashley and Derek have been so isolated that I need the show to develop something, anything to justify their presence. It's not that I think Joey being her father will be the greatest story ever told but at least it would be something and connect her to more characters. I just need the show to move forward with them. Out of all the characters, these are the only two with no storyline/development. We have recurring characters who are better used with less screentime. If the show is going to keep them on contract they need to do something with them.
    • I never thought I'd say it, but SC is B&B's best male actor - by far. SK is next. Has there ever been a US soap that has so much female talent surrounding by Himbos? KKL, JMW, HT, KB, AN, RB could be/have been leading ladies on any other soap. Even the secondary females are the ones who carry their scenes. It's been rare periods when B&B actually had a few solid male cast members. JMW really did a great job in the scenes with AN. Considering everything we've witnessed the past couple of years with Steffy/Hope, I thought reveal may ring hollow. JMW proved me wrong. No doubt this is Emmy material.
    • You won't even accept a minute cameo from Ms Marcil herself so she can collect her cheque?
    • Which has also slowed down from 100 pages a day, but I digress.

Yeah. When even I am getting annoyed with it (and still need to catch up on DAYS new team...two weeks behind now grrr) enough to take a break...and B&B holds my interest more for a show where nothing is going on...it's a BAD sign.   Seriously thinking about that break until

Then we go from there. I just can't believe JG just went and lost all the momentum that was built up over the last month. And during May Sweeps, too? No, ma'am.
    • Works for me!!! Just the back of some brunettes head and a hug lol on the Island And also, I like how it's brand new info Mo was good at his job in the 90's.  That's pretty much the entire reason he's still on the show.
    • I recently edited an older episode to do a Denise Alexander edit but Mo was in scenes & I had forgotten that back then he was actually good at his job.  The contrast with today is well alarming.
