Lily needs a baby like she needs another hole in the head... Glad that they didn't drown us out with her and Cane today.

Adam is definitely scheming...he couldn't have been more obvious when he went over to Phyllis' to talk "business"....I like him but don't want him paired up with Phyllis period...

Still can't make out what I truly feel about Sabrina....can't wait for the shoe to drop on her getting busy with Victor....

Loved me some Felicia; she might as well have pounced on Nick right there at the table of restaurant, the way she was coming on to him  ROWR :P

Amber cracked me up making a fool of herself trying to 'flirt' with Adam and Daniel calling her out on it and laughing in her face about it....

Felicia's a hoe, Adam's creepy, Victoria's an annoying bitch, and Lily just needs to get off my TV screen. All in all todays episode was nice. And that Sabrina and Victor love scene was actually kinda hot LOL what the hell am I saying. I think I need to go check myself into a mental institution.

Uh, how the hell is Lily gonna keep being knocked up by Cane from Neil if she can't even keep it underwraps from being found out by Devon? Wish Dru was there too; just to see what words she'd have for Cane...I'm sure she would

Today's show was just blah today...minus the Victoria/Adam scenes.

Oh and someone said they didn't think they were going in the direction of Adam and Phyllis? They might want to watch and see...that's all I'm going to say on that, especially after seeing the previews.

ITA. Whenever Chris Engen's in a scene, I'm all for it because we all know drama ensues when he's around. The more Phyllis fights it, the more I love it. Because if Adam's a creep, that means there'll finally be a character on this show that'll really cause some topsy-turvy stuff (unlike the ish Amber and Gloria did <_< ).

When I read that "Victoria and Sabrina make love" recap on cbs.com, I literally exclaimed "ewwwwww" at my computer screen. So, that's not fun. But, who knew 1) Victor was so easy LOL and 2) Victoria had such easy friends? They've only known each other for a month HAH!

Does anyone remember when Sabrina told Victoria about how she had a bad breakup and that she'd didn't want to date any guys for a long time? Did Victor sweep her off her feet or is she playing him? I hope to God it's the latter. I'd love to see someone swindle Victor. Then, we'd get the good ol' vengeful bad ass we all love to hate.

What's up with Felicia being a ho? Did she always go after unavailable men?

That's a shame, considering how Felicia's mother has been battling against the ho-extraordinaire- Brooke Logan. You would think she'd think of her Stephanie's embarrassment and the recurring deterioration of her family when she began her own hoochie ways.

Oh well. Nick/Phyllis did begin to get dull as hell. But I'd rather see Nick/Sharon again just to get Shar-Shar away from the god-awful, 20 years older, Jack Abbot.

Speaking of Jack, sure, Victor looks like Sabrina's grandfather but, darn it, every time I see him and Sharon together it just looks so wrong. Someone break those up soon, please!

I've really come to like Jack and Sharon too. I kinda disliked them in the beginning, but they're fun together.

I saw Friday's episode today, the first episode in quite a few days that I saw. I dunno what to make of it. It's kind of boring and crappy. I liked the feeling of it and the whole "all those characters together at the Club" thing going on, but it's just so boring. It's hard to watch a whole episode without checking your watch to see how long you will have to endure it.

I'm perfectly willing to sit back and wait 'till MAB takes over for herself and hopefully gets rid of non-Bell era writers, but I'm starting to be afraid that only Alden could make the show feel like Y&R again....

I think the problem is every storyline is about a new character or has a new character featured. The Newman storyline is mainly about Adam, you have David's gambling storyline, you have Jeffrey and Allistair involved in a triangle with Gloria, you have the Lily and Cane storyline, Victor and Sabrina storyline and then you have the Karen and Neil storyline. Oh yeah and the Kevin and Jana wedding storyline as well. Also all of the couples that we see the most are just about are comprised of an older character with a new character, Karen/Neil, Lily/Cane, Daniel/Amber, Nikki/David, Gloria/Jefferey, Kevin/Jana, and Victor and Sabrina.

I have no problems with new characters but they have them scattered throughout all of the storylines so there is no need to use any history so the storylines aren't as interesting. The only two storylines that are really based on past events in the show are Katherine's memoirs (which features relatively new character Amber) and the Gloria storyline which is pretty much still based on the skin cream storyline from a couple of years ago.

To make matters worse, they are moving too slow. If you're building your storylines on past events of the show, you can afford to be a little slow (which is why the Gloria/Jack/Allistair/Jeffrey storyline is the best one right now) but when your stories are involving new people that we don't care about yet, you need to hurry up and get to the point. It just seems that there's a lot of talking going on and no plot development which would be fine when you have conversations with Katherine and Jill, or Jack and Gloria, but not with Victor and Sabrina or Victoria and Adam, because we don't care about Sabrina or Adam yet. Sorry for rambling but that's my take on it.

I just can't get into a romance with Victor Newman and a woman young enough to be his great grand daughter. It actually makes me sick to my stomach whenever they are on. I hope they write her as a money grubber because it is the only thing that would make any sense. Why couldn't they have brought in Lynn Herring or another under-used daytime actress who at least could pass as being born within 50 years of the old coot. Actually, I quite like the actress, her and David could be hot and play strip poker. VI is so wasted with Nikki because they just don't click and I've seen both have chemistry with other actors before.

Adam is my favorite new character. He at least gives people something to do, but if he and Felicia think they have a chance with either Nick or Phyllis they are kidding themselves. They'd be better off just jumping each others bones instead of being home wreckers. Speaking of home wreckers, doesn't Felicia always accuse Brooke of being one and yet she's desperately seeking out the interest of a married man with a baby. Hypocrite bimbo.

The show has reverted back to being the regular old boring. It was good for about a month, which seems to be the typical time frame that a new writer can keep a soap interesting before running out of ideas.

Loved seeing Felicia in GC...

Regarding that Lily drama: Now what? Cane is too dumb to use a condom properly? Or did *Lily whines* We took precautions... mean that they used 19th century style contraception and prayed before their sweet love making??? Cane is now officially one of the dumbest characters to ever hit soaps. First he was beyond clueless by getting fooled by Amber over and over and now this... Give me a break.

Overall, I like what I see in GC. THere is no major stories but those smaller ones are all pretty good. One gruntled remark though: Nothing against all those writers which now show up in the credits again.

BUT the show is so fragmented again. The scenes are ultrashort although it still works somehow - kinda like LML pre-driving off Kay Alden -, which I attribute to 10 writers working on just 1 episode. This is just too much. As they say, too many cooks....
