SOW Blind Item - Fired Vet is acting out!

I saw this in the spoiler thread and thought I'd post it here so we can speculate!

Blind Item

This soap vet was let go but given lots of notice about it because TPTB were trying to be nice. Unfortunately, he took the news poorly and has chosen to start acting up, coming in late and not knowing his lines. It's a shame, because his co-workers used to like him, and the honchos at his network would have probably used him again on another show. "What are they going to do?" quips a set source. "Fire him?"

----------------

Could it be Walt Willey? He's been very outspoken with his negative comments on AMC, wasn't allowed at SSW and it looks like they'll pair Erica with John James' dull character. I guess it could also be someone from Y&R with all the people that have been let go lately.

I can't think of anyone this could be. Is it supposed to be someone who the magazines know has been fired but they haven't reported? I don't get it.

Sounds like Walt.

BTW Chris, have you seen New York latey? She's got these huge imlants and there's a preview for her show too. All these gay men are vying for her affections.

LOL yes, I have see the previews for I Love NY! All of those men look gay, which is good for me, but it should be hilarious to watch.

It's either Walt Willey, Nathaniel Marston or someone from Y&R

I have no idea, it can be anyone from any soap

Hopefully it's Don Diamont.

I agree about Nathanial Marston. He's not too famous that he couldnt show up on another ABC soap to the level that Walt Willey couldnt go to another soap at ABC. Although I'm not sure he could technically be considered a 'vet'. If it was a female I would have definately said Julia Barr. I could see this maybe being John York (I think that's his name, Mac from GH).

Angie, the banner is GORGEOUS! Where do you get them?

I thought Nathaniel was back on OLTL. They're being so vague as to why he had to leave. He strikes me as having issues.

Soap vet, Nathaniel isn't a soap vet is he?

The SOW cover from a week or two back made it sound like he was missing.

And, I don't think Marston is a vet yet so it couldn't be him unless they don't know what vets are these days.

I think it is Walt.

I thought Walt too after I read it.

Marston essentially has been in the soap business for 10 years. could be.

As I posted in the other thread since it says it was a man and he got notice that he was fired in advance. I just got a Vincent Irizarry thread. I have never heard of him acting this way but even the blind item makes it seem that the staff and all were surprised by his acting that way. I know he was not happy about his firing, and I just got a vibe about him when I read it.

And the way it reads it is someone that is know that is already fired. Walt Willey or Nathaniel Marston have not been fired have they? I know Marston left for a week for personal issues the network said but is already back at work.
