Phenomenal episode.

Bo & Hope was great. I'm enjoying Hope playing both sides, so to speak, as opposed to embracing one and shunning the other. She knows Patrick is no good, but she's not so ready to give her whole heart to Bo again. It shouldn't be instant, even when they're finally together again. The trust has to rebuild. I wonder if Kristian ab-libbed the "Oh Lordy, I'm big!" line. Hilarity!

The Lockhart stuff was meh until Patrick left. Say what you will about Farah, but her and Judi are a GREAT mother/daughter team. She's never better than in scenes with her.

As much as don't prefer Josh's Roman, it was nice to see him with his brothers today.

And, hey, if Bo is going to get the department in trouble, why not make him and Hope go back in the P.I. business together? :D

Victor, Kate, and Philip - wow. Lauren is fabulous! I loved Victor pointing out Kate's children's drab lives and making a point to insure Philip's not poisoned by her shenanighans. Her level of emotion was right on target. Loved the dance at the end.

Go Hogan!

Three-straight great episodes. Days is rooling through December, right now there are really aming me believe they are the best soap in december.

I loved the Kate/Victor/Phillip storyline...so mch chemistry. Go Lauren!

The end with Mimi and Max kinda of scared me, the lights went out and you hear a struggle between Max and some mystery guys, you don't know what happened.

Bo/Hope were great, such ease between those two.

Today was amazing. 3 great ones in a row.

I actually enjoyed Mimi today. I agree Keith-she is better with Evans. The Lockhart scenes were kind of blah but they got better as it went along.

I am enjoying Bo and Hope now. They were the weak area of the show these past few weeks but we are slowly getting back to their greatness. I loved the line about how big she was and loved how she handled Patrick. Her scenes with Bo showed that the Hope we love is slowly returning.

Nice that Roman had scenes with Max and Bo. I don't remember him ever sharing scenes with Max so I liked it and I like Bo being in on the Victor stuff now.

The ending with Max and Mimi was well-done. The lights, the sounds-perfect. Loved my Abby today too.

Victor and Kate were the highlight. Wow...John and Lauren were amazing. Victor explanation for why he is doing all this was perfect IMO and I think we all needed to here why he was doing this to Shawn and we did. Lauren was amazing today and that scene with her and Victor dancing and Philip nodding-wow. It's scenes like that that make you realize how good Days has gotten. I so want Victor and Kate together now after that. I also loved that song that was playing too.

Awesome show. Hope they can keep it up because this has been the best week of the year in terms of all around quality for me.

Lauren never ceases to amaze me.

She and John have a chemistry that is palpable.

Kudos Hogan!

What song was playing when Victor and Kate were dancing?

Kate and Victor = awesome.

Judi Evans = great.

Looks like the bad guys made the episode for me today.

I cannot believe how much a show can progress with a change in writing. At one time, I feared my favorite soap opera of all time was going to be canned. Hogan and his writing team have truly made DAYS a daytime soap opera again. Everything about the past few days has been daytime. DAYS is no longer the outcast soap that it's been for a couple of years. It can now compete in daytime with the others like AMC, GH, Y&R, etc.

Victor and Kate were awesome! I'm glad they brought Kate into the secret. She should know about her son. I loved the dance at the end. When Victor held out his hand, I was expecting Philip to take Kate's hand and put it in Victor's, but Kate did it on her own, with Philip's slight urging of course. :D

Loved Max and Abby today. Ashley Benson plays jealousy rather well, surprisingly. I so want these two together!

Bo and Hope were good. I can't wait for Patrick to leave. I agree with the Bonnie/Mimi talk. Judi and Farah have amazing chemistry.

Awesome episode! Victor continues to rock every. scene. he's. in.

Lauren Koslow was excellent too. The dance at the end was a perfect touch..

Bo & Hope were just adorable today. I had a permagrin every time they were on screen together.

Patrick "Crazy Eyes" Lockhart can't die soon enough for me. I did love the bit when Mimi tossed the wad of money at him and said "Merry Christmas. Now I don't have to buy you socks."

Susan Kirshenbaum did a pretty good job with today's script...

Given how much I've bashed Josh Taylor in the "who should be fired next on Days?" threads, I have to give credit where credit is due. It was nice to see Roman talking about the various mysteries/investigations going on in Salem lately. Ever since I started watching back in May/June, I don't remember a time when Roman and Max had a chat. It was pretty refreshing and JT and Darren had pretty good brother chemistry going on there. One of the reasons why I enjoy Hogan's writing so much are these little scenes like this. No, they aren't meant to please a certain fanbase or even to further the plotline along, but to me, they make the characters more real. I absolutely how he mixes different characters together, especially family members. He just needs to add more friendships and I'll be good to go....

Next, I've really enjoyed the tender scenes b/w Bo and Hope the last couple of days. It's a nice change from all the mistrust that we had to endure last week. Peter Reckell has really excelled under Hogan's writing. Hogie has given him a wide range of scenes to play and PR has run with it!! It was great to see Bo's range today with the sweet scenes with Hope to his investigative side with Roman. It was refreshing to see both Roman and Bo and to a smaller degree Roman and Max thinking through things and trying to figure out what's going on with their investigations.

I also liked the Victor/Kate/Phillip scenes as well. Evil, cold, calculated Victor is hilarious. It was strange to see Kate in the role of Victor's moral compass and trying to deter him from his plans to take Claire away from Shelle and then put Maxi "on ice." I hope that HS continues to explore this pairing. I think both characters are at their best, when they are working their schemes together....

Good show....

I really hope Hogan and his writers can keep up the momentum because Friday and this week has been great.

Farah was not horrible today! She is always decent in scenes with Judi, it's a shame she can't keep it up when acting with others. I don't ask for a whole lot, I just want some competent acting. The music during the scene where she and Max realized they were being watched was creepy. It gave me some goosebumps. Abby was good too. Poor gal is so infatuated, but I don't blame her.

Everything was good today, and the characters were not dumb! So wonderful to see Bo picking up right away his father is once again up to no good. The real shocker was Kate. I haven't seen her so concerned for someone else other than her kids for a while, and her not really wanting to be in on Victor's scheme was refreshing. But of course, she'll get caught up in it, that's Kate. A Kate/Victor re-pairing would be nice. Lauren and John have tons of chemistry. You can tell John is thrilled to be working and to play his character like it was in the 80s. It would be nice if the show would use Maggie a lot more, but I will take what I can get. And not seeing Chelsea's smugbutt grin for a while has been awesome!

I haven't watched this episode yet, but I'll be watching on SoapNet later and I can't wait.

I cannot believe that I'm this excited to watch this show again. It's one thing to watch the show when it comes on, because you're already there in front of the TV and you've got nothing better to do. It's another thing, however, to be excited and look forward to watching when it comes on... and to watch the clock, waiting for the time to tick away so you can watch it. I LOVE having that feeling again. And I'm not even spoiler-free! This stuff is just art, LoL

As for Farah/Judi scenes, I can't wait to see the scenes. It's only with Judi that I really enjoy Farah. They're the best mother/daughter duo on the show, after Marlena/Belle.

Great show again! Like everyone else, I'm loving the use of Victor again. Also, love the cop talk, and how the characters are actually thinking things out again. What a refreshing change from JER. I liked when Patrick walked by Hope as he was leaving her house how she shivered. I don't know if KA added that to the scene, but it showed how freaked out Hope is getting about Patrick. It is obvious to the viewers that Patrick is losing it, so why shouldn't Hope be having the same feelings.

I had to laugh at the Victor and Kate dance at the end. It seemed to me that Phillip was having Sami, Chelsea and Stephanie disease. He wants his parents back together!! At least we didn't have to listen to him whine about it!

Good suspense at the end with Max and Mimi. Romance, suspense, comedy, drama! Imagine Days being able to do all of that again in 3 sucessive shows! Wow!

Loved that little shiver KA gave as Patrick left! It was a nice finishing touch to a really creepy scene. It's nice to actually see that Patrick has a personality--although it's an evil psychotic one--instead of all the blandness we've put up with since he's been on. Still looking forward to him leaving, though, and it's got to be very soon as he's clearly losing his grip.

I like having Victor returning to his dark side, although I don't think all aspects of his storyline make sense. But I guess having a son who's endured as much tragedy as Philip has over the last couple years could lead you to make bad choices to try to "fix" things for him. Victor's going to have so many people turn on him, I think we'll probably see a Kate/Victor pairing again as everyone else in Salem will be furious with his plan for Clare. I'm very surprised that Roman and Bo are onto him already; I like that the police force have brains again. Now let's just get Bo back on the force officially!

I am officially in love with Victor Kiriakis. What a man. I love everything about this very masculine male. I can almost smell him...sigh. At any rate, I don't adore evil so that part of him will just have to slip by, but the way he looked at Kate today just shows what a virile man he is. They are wonderful together and I'm so hoping they become a couple again. It was nice to see a softer side of Kate and I loved that Philip was comforted seeing his parents together, too.

The Max and Mimi story has given Darrin such a much-needed way to show his abilities. He has relaxed into being Max and showing the charm I've read that he has. He is adorable and Bree, today I saw Darrin and Ashley instead of Max and Abby, which means a lot...it means the two actors are adorable together whereas the characters have been awkward. I think today was Ashley's best day as Abby, newly maturing.

I'll just be glad when this Patrick/Bo/Hope story is over. It's hard for me to be happy about the baby with Patrick even in the story. I hope the end of December can obliterate that.

Josh was cool. He needs a woman.

Summation: Super show today with cast and writiing.
