Beautiful, smart Eileen Davidson has been booted from the "Young and the Restless" soap after 20 years. If Dick Wolf is smart, he will make her the next DA on "Law & Order." Davidson should have been on prime time a long time ago.

Although, technically ED did leave once, so its not like a constant 20 years...I do agree. ED could play one of those snippy lawyers. She's a good actress and I bet she'll do wonders in prime time. So many of these daytime actresses are worth more than what they are given, that it's such a shame. But if ED does go to prime time, please not L&O as I don't watch that show

I could see Eileen doing L&O series. I also think she would have been great on Brothers and Sisters. I love the actress who plays the oldest sister, but WOW I would have loved to see Eileen in that role or even the role of the oldest brother's wife. That would have been good as well!!!

I think now would be a better time for Eileen to pursure other interests in prime time. I'm not sure if she'll fit into any of the shows I currently watch though lol.

Oooh maybe she can fit into a show I watch after all. That would be cool to see her as the oldest brother's wife but first they'd have to expand her character. I want Eileen to have a layered role, something that she can truly sink her teeth into.

Eileen belongs at DAYS. Period.

I think Days can do without Kristen and I think an actress of her caliber can do without Days. But I think Days would be lucky to have an actress of her caliber, by that same logic. Personally I'd love to continue watching her on primetime, shows like Law and Order aren't boring to me but actually have quality. I am not really into seeing Kristen return, though I will try to enjoy Eileen and her talents if she does.

Eileen no doubt could handle primetime but I want her back on Days.

I just feel it's right for her to return right now.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: There is NO. WAY. ED is not coming back to DAYS in the near future. If it doesn't happen, it might very well be the biggest disappointment ever (at least for me, personally).
