Y&R: Carolyn Conwell News

I always took Lynne as the type who, if Paul was upset about a case, would drop down on her knees to make him happy. Wish someone would slap her around every now and then (Lauren, I'm talking to you).

I'm sure whereever "Yes, boss" Lynne Bassett is at these days, she's kneeling before her shrine to Paul. I've always pictured her going home and opening her closet to reveal all of these pictures of Paul (and herself photoshopped on them) plastered all over.

I actually love me some Lynn. Which would you rather have: Lynne or Christine? :P

Okay... going back to my Mary Williams shrine.

oh god no. I HATE Mary Williams. She is so nosy and all up in Paul's business

I know, but she's a hoot

Y&R should have Jeanne Cooper and Carolyn Conwell share some scenes.

^She's mentioned on Monday's show by Katherine! Kay asks Paul how his mom is doing. I read the day ahead transcript! :D

I think that makes this true than because not very often are people mentioned on the soap, without them showing up soon. :)

Oh, I love them both lol. I wish Lynne would be seen more often, actually.

Glad to hear Mary *might* be back. She always was a hoot!

I didn't mind Christine all that much, honestly, but had I watched back in the late 80s I'm sure I would of gotten sick of her ... didn't she have like three men after her? Gag ... and was like in every story?

Yes, "Cricket" was extremely annoying in the 80s. She was that hyper-popular know-all, can-all, only-nice super-teen model with great accademic skills and at least two men lusting after her... It's hard to believe Chricket couldn't cure Aids and cancer at the same time...

Nina, back then, was the complete opposite and it was more than just one miracle of biblic proportions that those two became friends like in the 90s...

I love Cricket/Christine because, like Mary Williams, she takes me back to the 90s Y&R and my childhood. Kay, Cricket, Paul, Jill, Jack, Nikki, Victor...it all oozes back memories which is why, to this day, when I watch Y&R, I get light chills down my spine.

I like Christine too and it's probably because I didn't see the Cricket heavy years. I really can't imagine how that must've been. I understand hriing your kids, but the way it was handled was terrible.

When Aaron Spelling cast Tori on 90210, she didn't get a storyline until the second season, she really had to work for it. All she got in the first season were little one-liners here and there, like David's friend Scott.

*cough* Randy Spelling *cough*

This guy couldn't even handle one-liners...

Lauralee Bell never was a really bad actress so it didn't hurt that badly. Yet, she still massively improved during the 90s...

LOL, you're right there! Randy Spelling was not meant to be an actor. Didn't Spelling also give him a role on Sunset Beach? At least he didn't get him a primetime series.

Yes, I saw very FEW of Sunset Beach because I hated that show but he was by far the funniest try of an actor ever.

How could you hate Sunset Beach!?!?!?! :o:o

I'm hearing that they may be RECASTING Mary. LML BETTER not recast the maginificent Carolyn Conwell with one of her past lackies.

If LML does this, then she REALLY has the nerve of a brass assed monkey.......
