As long as Y&R's ratings are going up, the networks have to believe she is doing a good job and fans believe that too.

There are just as many people that love LML as there are that hate her. I loved what she was doing when she first became HW, but I think her becoming EP put too much stress on her and things are suffering. It's like in sports, the head coach shouldn't also be the general manager. One thing is gonna suffer because of the other.

It's not a matter of hating as much as hoping that the quality, attention to detail and respect of the vets that Y&R so prides itself in doesn't fall by the wayside. Currently, there are some real mistakes going on and a sense of real backstage infighting. If LML really does have all this power, she needs to fix that -- or go. JMO.

Given what we've been through with Days, I think people will cut Hogan a lot of slack.

I don't think it was a wise idea to make Lynn EP of Y&R. I loved her work with Bernie Lechowick on Knots Landing (some of the best years of that soap came from those two), but there is such a thing as spreading yourself too thin.
