You're kidding? Luke really told Tracy he loves her?! WOW!

That has to be a slap in the face to everything Luke and Laura.

More people watch Passions than the view.

He told her yesterday that the real reason he never got a divorce is because he loves her. First it started out as him wanting to get the $15 million and then because he just liked her and now he loves her. He wants to be her (Tracy's) husband, but is just marrying Laura to give her what she wants because he knows she's gonna go catatonic again.

Yeah I'm beginning to think this whole this is a major stunt and a complete slap in the face to L&L fans...they are fooling Laura AND the fans. I'll watch, but I don't necessarily like....major disapointment in the end.

no bc no one cares. I dont think GH can even begin to compare to the wedding of 1981 bc that in and of itself was an event. This one doesnt seem to be getting as much buzz or hype as it should, mainly bc it was rushed. GH made a bigger stink fo Brenda's return in 2002. Plus this isnt even a real wedding. Luke has stated that he loves Tracy and wants to be her husband. He's only marrying Laura to make her happy but this wedding is a fake. I know that has turned several Luke/Laura fans off. I say GH gets a 2.8, 2.9 at the most but definetly nothing more than that

Not that it will count for anything ratings-wise, but I tuned back into GH solely for Genie. IMHO she and TG lit up the show. However, it also sort of broke my heart again because it reminded me how glorious the show once was -- and how the current IIC piss on that legacy on a daily basis.

Also, much as I love the superlative Jane Eliott, the whole I-love-Tracy thing was surprisingly hard to watch. And knowing that Laura will be slipping back into catatonia, all because the dipshits at ABC cannot "afford" her (but willingly fork out $$$ to keep Maurice Benard, Laura Wright, Kelly Monaco and Michael Easton over at OLTL happy) truly enrages me. The worst part? Genie and ONLY Genie will be blamed for the ratings not making it past the 3.0 mark. And it will be used as an excuse by Frons et al to cull the ABC shows of vets (especially females) who have *shock* committed the sin of actually passing the age of 40.

They actually have done a good job promoting the wedding. I predict that it will be close to 3.0, maybe over...but nothing major. The show is still mediocre.

They still fill 50% of their airtime w/ crap like Sonny, Carly, Jax, and Sam. It's not Genie's fault if the ratings don't spike: she's one of the best things about the show right now. If Frons is looking for someone to blame, he should look in the mirror.

Laura's return totally brightened the show. Whatever Genie is demanding to stay, ABC should fork it over...even if it means axing Maurice and the rest of those no-talent big-shots.
