Max/Stephanie was lame. So sorry to say it, but that storyline had to end, and if enduring one day of this crap is the price then it's worth it. Steph might whine a bit more, but I am certain she will get distracted and drop it with Steve and Kaylas upcoming scenes later this week. I might start liking her more once she gets over this obsession.

The rest was incredible, well written and very well acted. It's amazing what even marginal actors can do with a good script. I mean look at Hutzler. He's not that great of an actor, but he's imporved tons with the new dialouge.

This show feels like it did Pre-Reilly (Circa 1992 and under). I am so, so glad. I have my Days back.

BTW: Way to go Diedre and Allison.

Fast paced and chock full of great drama!

From Marlena giving the "face up to what you've done" speech to Sami, the Mimi tattling on Shawn's new toygirl to Mommy and Mommy going into orbit,, Max divesting himself of yet another "niece" to the yummylicious baddie EJ giving Patrick chapter and verse on how he will stay in line or else, just great daytime theatre.

Sweeps is not even here and we are treated to this kind of show. Wow bring it on. I want more.

What a great show..I seriously enjoyed every minute, except for the stephanie stuff...But i'm glad its finally over between Max and Stephanie (thank you hogan)..

First off, loved the hints of Max and Abby..Abby admitting that she thinks Max is hot, was a nice first step..and i even liked hearing that Mimi was taking her car to Max's garage..I'm excited to see Mimi interact with new characters...

Bonnie and Mimi were fun today..I love Bonnie deceiving Mimi over the surrogate, this is going to be a great storyline...and Mimi telling Hope about Willow was funny...I loved Hope going off on Shawn..great scene..and i completely agreed with what Hope said to her son...Brandon Beemer was great today, and just has so much chemistry with his fellow cast memebers..He's a natural..

Bo and John--i'm happy that they are pairing up..the music in their last scene was excellent....and i loved the simple fade out...Nice touch...

Marlena and Sami---Wow, powerful stuff..Marlena's dialouge was perfect..This was all stuff she's wanted to tell Sami for years..Deidre rocked today...best work in a long time...

Finally EJ, delicious EJ...Wow what a great transformation..Love him as a bad guy...The scenes with Patrick rocked..and i loved how he showed up right when Sami needed him...Can't wait for tommorows show....Days is on a roll now...

LOVED this episode, very well written and some GREAT dialouge!!

Ther Marlena/Sami scenes IMO were very realistically written. Every word that came out of Marlena's mouth was SPOT on and IMO things that Marlena should have said to her YEARS ago. Deidre Hall was the MVP of this episode FOR SURE and rocked these scenes.

EJ was just SO good today. I absolutely LOVE the show has made him bad..James Scott plays BAD so GOOD!! LOL Definetly cannot wait to see what Eeej's next move is.

Definetly getting more ancy for some Mabby love. They are going to be a great pairing and it was also nice to see Mimi share scenes with people OTHER than Shawn/Belle/Philip for a change.

ETA: The writing for the character of Marlena is FINALLY the way it should be, no more of this helpless weak little girl. Mamma Marlena is BACK.

I loved that Marlena stood up for John. She was fierce today. Sami got her reality check, time to follow your mama's advice.

I am SO glad that Marlena FINALLY called Sami on her bratty, manipulative behavior. Marlena admits she could have been a better mom to her. She's said it plenty of times. I loved how she brought John up being there for her and loving her, and how nobody else had a problem with it (Eric did for like five seconds but got over himself). When will this chick GROW UP and stop acting like a baby that wants mommy and daddy together? Chelsea is already acting like that, it's time for Sami to stop it and act like the almost 30-something she's supposed to be. If she doesn't stop this crap, I'm gonna root for EJ to destroy her life.

Mimi was extremely tolerable for me today. When she isn't frontburner, she's much better. I'm glad Maggie told Hope to go talk to her son and that she isn't being judgemental with Willow, she's giving that girl a chance to possibly stop hooking.

Max kissing Abby on the cheek was sweet, but Stephanie needs to get a grip. Like they say, "he's just not into you." I like Shayna, but I don't want her getting all hysterical over a guy.

Good show today.

I read about tuesday's ep. Looks like I'm going to love the roman/sami confrontation. she literally tells roman and her family to go to hell and walks out on him

If that is true, then to hell with Sami. 12 years of her crap, and it's still not her fault?! And blaming Marlena and Roman for not being there. Why doesn't she blame the man responsible, Stefano DiMera? He kidnapped John and brainwashed him, and then held both Roman and Marlena on his island for years, and instead of her growing up and taking some damn responsibility, it's still Roman and Marlena's fault that her childhood turned out the way it did. Right on to Marlena for finally calling that witch on her deeds. True, none of her sisters have done right all the time, but the difference is at least Belle and Carrie have shown some type of remorse for their actions. Sami still acts like she's in junior high. Silly ass [!@#$%^&*]. I have had it up up to the top of my head with her crap. If she ends up by herself, that's her punishment for playing God with people's lives.

Well i do think we are going to see Sami grow up with Hogan writing now..But i think Sami had to be brought down first, to see that she really needs to grow up and change for the better for Will and Lucas...

EJ has orchestrated events the past few months, so that now Sami soley relies on him...when she finds out EJ is bad, all hell will break loose..And i can't wait..

Todays show was great!

Marlena finally telling Sami to take responsibility for her own actions is what I have wanted to her for YEARS. I also liked how she pointed out Lexie isnt her daughter, so she doesnt care what Lexie did. Just nice to have realistic dialogue now, makes the show much more watchable. Dee and Ali as usual rocked their scenes!

Patty Cakes/EJ: I was surprised what all was revealed in todays show, first EJ being the infamous Gloved Hand and the revealing Patrick isnt the dad of Hope's child. If a viewer blinked the exchange between Patty Cakes and Dr. Bader was very brief, I am sure some viewers missed on that one.

I wonder how far along the surrogate is? I wonder if this is going to be shoved back to February Sweeps. I am just glad Bonnie was shown talking to the surrogate over the phone. I also cant believe how tolerable Mimi is as a supporting character. I am glad she told Hope Willow was a hooker, momma Hope wasnt too happy about that. It was good seeing Hope tear into Shawn about needing to become a man now that he knows he is a father. Its too bad Hope didnt blame Shawn for going out on the boat, he is 21 now!

I am glad John and Bo are working together to find out about Patty Cakes past and who he might be working for. I perfer John working with Bo over Roman.

I think Marlena told Sami what we have all wanted to say for years. I think Sami is going to be totally manipulated by EJ now. Eventually we are going to see Sami forced to grow up. This is going to be an awesome story. I love Bo and John working together. To me, John has always been more of a brother to Bo than Roman. I'm so hoping that Days does the Max and Abby love story the way it used to be done. Let them fall in love slowly. It is so much better that way. Hope giving it to Shawn was great. We got to see glimpses of the old Hope. Thank you Hogan and everyone involved for making me tape Days again.
