Y&R: Phyllis and Paul, oh the irony!

It was funny watching Phyllis bring up the fact that Lauren's stress may be due to Sheila resurfacing when talking to Paul. I couldn't help but think of Phyllis, over 10 years ago, running down Paul and Chris with her car with the intention of bumping off her arch nemesis. There really is no difference between Phyllis and Sheila, yet the digusting fact is that Sheila is damned by everyone as a monster and yet people who have done similar crimes are overlooked and are treated as innocent citizens. I mean, Phyllis was talking to the man she nearly killed for christs sakes! I hope her skeletons come out of the closet pretty damn soon, i've grown tired of heroine Phyllis. We all know the woman is really a sociopath, who like a bull in a china shop readily breaks up families, generally treats people like they are lesser beings and goes for whatever takes her fancy.

Dru and Sharon need to get Diane Jenkins and form a 'Three witches' trinity against Phyllis. If my Sheila is going to be bastardised, i want the rest of the morally bankrupt canvas to pay for their sins too!

This is part of the long plan to make Phyllis into a heroine, which is CRAP! I can understand refining her for long term potential, but Phyllis still needs to be a bad girl. I'd like to see her rolling her car over someone, especially now that she's this pregnant GigglyHeffa, that would be hilarious.

I think about all these wicked folks and how their characters have changed so much...

Looking over the history, Paul back in the day was big ole playboy, he did his dirty deeds

Lauren was the biggest troublemaker; tormenting Traci, going after Danny. She was the fiery red-haired spitfire..

Phyllis, who didn't give a care about anyone, except herself, using her baby to keep Danny, constantly stirring up trouble for Chris or anyone else for that matter.

Paul is just as dull as a pencil...Lauren, still has some spunk to her, but not as she did in the past...and they have just turned Phyllis in to this stepford wife to be.

My ideal long-time story plan for Sheila would be some sort of a feud with Phyllis. Too bad it would never happen.

Anyway, Iagree, the characters seem to be, well out of character. LML can't write well for women, on that aspect she's on par with Guza and Pratt.

Phyllis and Sheila could have been a dynamic duo, imagine Phyllis trying to help her new best pal Lauren get Sheila thrown in the clinker, then Sheila exposing Phyllis' psycho past or something, blackmailing her and forcing her to conspire against the interests of Lauren - would be bril.

i had so many story ideas for Sheila, i think they should have made her Phillip Chancellor's bastard daughter to give Jess Walton the story she's been lacking for so many years.

That would have been so good. Sheila would have met her match in the crazy department because those two would go toe-to-toe.
