Great episode!

"You want a DNA test? She is hot and I feel nothing."

Kevin/Justin at the dinner table....both of them going after Rebecca's cup....and when Kevin was going after Rebecca's hair, the "don't do it" look from Justin/Tommy to Kevin...... bahahaha.

I absolutely love the addition of Rebecca to the show...the actress fits in so well..And the show was just great, i'm glad Sally Field got to show her stuff again...I swear she is one of the few actresses that can make me tear up..

Great ep though I almsot feel that sometimes this show has too many characters and stories--while I love that aspect ofit to some extent, with just 40 mins a week it makes thew whole ep zoom by

Creeator Blaitz has som eitnerestign comments on his blog.

Another fabulous episode.

The story narration within the actual show was so good and wait... so "Everwood"!

Was kinda disappointed from the middle part of the episode but simply because I expected too much and the events were unpleasant: Kitty & kids, Kevin & his insecurities. Yet the ending was fantastic.

Sally Field is worthy every penny of her 100000 bucks per-episode-salary. If Nora cries, I'm sad, if Nora's happy so am I. The ending felt the the end of a movie which in this case lasted from #1-#17...

I wonder what's up next, it kind of felt like a season finale to me. One can't say it often enough: what a beautiful ending!

EDIT: What ever happened to Treat Williams/David Morton??? Where is he?

@ Eric: 6 episodes are left - # 18-23

Sneakpek... #118 "Three Parties"

Next Sunday night (April 8) at 10pm, following an all-new "Desperate Housewives" (finally!), the hilarious "Superman" vet Margot Kidder returns as Nora's (Sally Field) wacky friend Emily Craft and the ladies' love lives heat up andwe say bye, bye, bye to Jason Lewis and his Chad.

First scoop about the season finale via TVGuide: Justin's fate is very much in the air...

The prob is Ron Rifkin is a hugely in demand Broadway star (and a fairly well known character actor especially after Alias, in Hollywood)--would they be able to get him when they wanted if he weren't contract? I know he is close freinds with creator Blaitz (whose plays he's performed in many times) and of course producer Ken Olin--so maybe, but...

The only dropped character I can think of is Treat Williams'--did they ever mention him again?

I don't think Treat was ever mean't to be a contract player but I wish he were. I liked Ron on Alias, so him having such a small role, when his role was huge on Alias is very underwhelming. I just wish they would do more with his character or just let him go recurring.

    • I don't mind Jan either. If anything, they could be using her more to get her daughter's POV. Not to mention her role as one of the Have-Nots.    I also don't mind the local talent. Just look at soaps that were in NY or the shows that film there, they always go for the local talent and we get to find new faves.
    • I'm not going to watch (because...well...that M-dude...lol) but knowing the history between Henry and Roger, I could see Henry wanting to enable Hart to stay independent of Roger. I could even see it as Henry having the last laugh at Roger. Roger hated "the Henry's" of the world, which basically meant anyone who had money and social prominence. Twice Roger swindled Henry out of a chunk of his fortune, so giving some to Hart, who hates his father, is a form of karma.
    • Ashley and Derek have to go- they really throw off the pace of the show.  Today was the first time I fast-forwarded through their scenes. The writing and acting is just bad for both characters.
    • Jon is stuck in a story that isn't popular but with Cady I feel like the issue is that she was clearly thrown in with no real purpose. I still don't understand why she pops up. I recall early on it being said she owned a spa but we've never seen it. That could've been an interesting location for people to meet. She also could've worked better as Smitty's mom, but instead we get this random agent of Dani's who pops up twice a month? A total waste. I mostly agree. I do feel like Jan could be elevated with a name soap actress, someone like Judi Evans or Kassie DePaiva comes to mind, but they're limited to who is in Atlanta. Keeping that in mind I think the current actress is fine.
    • It's great to see. My thoughts might be a little different, but for the most part, I am excited and interested in most of the storylines. Yeah, you're right. This is probably how she (Dani) normally acts. And, I do not like it!  I agree; this is another distraction while she heals her wounds. If I weren't an Eva fan, she helped me root for her even more. As I said a month ago, I hope they take their time with her modeling agency. I would love to see her face a few obstacles before becoming a huge success.
    • I like that there are a lot of local performers on this soap and I'm glad they've resisted so far on hiring too many soap performers.   Cady has been awkward on the show thus far and Jon seems to have polarizing as well. I say focus on the local talent and giving those people a job and exposure.. and leave the P & G soap opera performers in the past.
    • Who do you think would be good for the show among the ATWT/GL cast?
