Y&R: Thoughts on Brad's mom

I like this actress much better! She seems less zombie like than "Ms. Anne Frank." I thought she did a good job on Friday's show. So far I like Lorna Raver. Something tells me that Rebecca is going to die around November sweeps, everything seems too kosher ;)

Thoughts???

She seems much more real to me. She actually looks to be of German Jewish descent, more age appropriate and a sense of struggle. With the other actress, it seemed like it was more of role playing than actual fact.

I liked the first Rebecca more, BUT I do realize why they recast. This one seems more authentic and she's noticeably older. One complaint about the other was that she looked too young to have lived through the Holocaust as an adult

I like that this one is more age appropriate. I also like that she looks like a authentic (okay, stereotypical) grandma. Like Nancy on ATWT or that woman on DAYS. You can picture her baking cookies or something. LOL!

I'm so stupid, I'm cracking myself up right now.

I think the new Rebecca fits the role better than Millie did.

Kudos to Y&R for the recast. The new actress is much more age-appropriate for the role. The other actress was far too glamorous for the role -- it was clear she wasn't comfortable with the pace of daytime either. (If she would have been Brad's Mom's younger sister, I could've bought into to it.) ITA--I don't think the Rebecca character is long for the show, though.
