I just found it! Whew, I was starting to think it never happened lol I think it was less racy and more comical because it's so random. This clip is kinda washed out and there's terrible static over the music, but there she is.

WOW. What on earth were they thinking? That had to have been some smart ass intern sneaking something in...

  2. Who the hell eats Chinese food on a park bench while making out? Making out with someone with a mouthful of Chinese food does not seem sexy to me (then again, neither did making out with somebody covered in shaving cream.)

I guess it makes the Ben/Ciara scenes bearable for me though, because I can laugh at how over the top and ridiculous they are. I swear they’re doing it on purpose.

I switched off to B&B at 1:30 but I have to agree about how ridiculous Sarah looked talking to herself in the train station, especially since there were extras within earshot. At this point, it almost seems like the actress is enjoying the crazy and leaning into it.

The character has been super bland. Maybe let her go psycho?

I loved Lauren and Sally being friends they were so much fun together. This was right after Sally stuck a photo of Eric & Lauren in bed together in the pastor’s Bible at Eric & Stephanie’s wedding. The show was on fire 1997-1998 from Grant stealing the designs to Ridge & Taylor’s wedding it’s probably one of my favorite periods in the show’s history.

lolol. I knew I missed stephenie. I didn’t realize until now how much I miss sally! I want more!

  5. I've been watching 1988 clips on YouTube. The Sonni/Solita storyline is often called one of the best GL storylines ever. And it totally holds up. The character is just so fascinating and Michelle Forbes' performance is a tour de force. You cannot tell where the con artist and her plethora of lies end and where the honest, real person begins. It's really just such a unique character and performance. And I love how fleshed out her backstory and motivations are and that's she's not just some cartoon villain. This is like a daytime psychological thriller. We've never seen anything quite like it on daytime since.

Today was very boring. What does Kayla always look like she's smelling fart? She just comes off as very unpleasant.

how would you feel if you were personally responsible for every single patient admitted to Salem University Hospital regardless of what kind of doctor they need to see and you are related to most of them all on top of being Chief of Staff? The stress has to be getting to her.

"The Bold and the Beautiful” episodes include:

    • Monday, May 11: in the magical setting of Villa d’Este on Lake Como, Eric (John McCook) and Stephanie (Susan Flannery) worry that the delayed Forrester Spring Collection may be their last, and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) attempts to calm a distraught Ridge (then played by Ronn Moss). Also, Sally (Darlene Conley) and Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) cause a scene in order to crash the runway show, hoping to witness the demise of their rivals. (OAD: October 29, 1997)

Sounds like a keeper! Will be the first one I've bothered to watch. And I watched a lot of B&B back in the day (it was never "my" show, but it was on before ATWT so it was always a soap that was on my radar.)

Based on some of the jeering from some fans about old episodes being shown (although I have at least seen some other fans call these people out), I'm not expecting much of a boost or incentive to air more true classics...but I never thought they'd go back to 1981, so hopefully they will give this material a chance and air more while we're still in this - or consider putting some out on streaming or what have you.

If anyone ever told me that in 2020 CBS would be airing 1981 episodes and having Kate Linder ask viewers to watch Raiders of the Lost Ark, I would have assumed massive acid trips had become a national pasttime.

I'm so shocked that people aren't loving the classics. Everyone I've ever known who watched soaps started watching because of their mom or grandmother... half the fun was your mom telling you about the stuff that happened before you were born (invariably "back when it was GOOD") and then occasionally getting to see the odd flashback or Christmas classic episode.
