Have to feel a bit sorry for these young actors with little experience or training who are handed poorly written scripts and have to try and bring it without much direction or rehearsal.
THIS.

At this point I'm positive they're not going fo 'shock value' per se, they're going for 'cringe-video-Twitter-virality value'. They take pride in people retweeting them out of cringeness, they probably think that's a sign of cultural relevance. It's shortsighted and it will ultimately drive the show to the ground.

Do these people honestly believe that they're creating any excitement whatsoever with this mess?

??? So what, he should resort to surgery? I wish people would get more comfortable with diverse bodies - and this is a reeeeally minor diversity.

I wonder how they'll fit this into the CBS schedule. Perhaps:
10 Lets Make a Deal
11 Price is Right
12 Local News
12:30 Y&R
1 NEW SOAP: The Gates
1:30 B&B
How is that even possible? Y&R is 1 hour.

Adrienne Leon was perfect as Tracy and Brad's child. Loved her Colleen.

I’m sorry to be nitpicky but if you want to refer to this show with Gates as opposed to TG, I don’t see the need to capitalize its name (plus my money is on TG prevailing)

random question - but I was always under the assumptions that the show was about the murders that Jessica - as a novelist - wrote. Cabot Cove was not a dangerous place, it was just a city in her mind.
Am i wrong?

I enjoyed the 2 minutes about a couple months ago when it looked like Liam would become a bad guy. That seems to be over.
Same...

It's funny how some people here are somehow pretending they predicted this lmao
I'm not that excited about the news. I know I should be - it is a good sign after all. But I wish there was some indication that the genre is being reinvented. Because it needs to. Are we still considering depicting the life of rich people? Come on.
On the topic of reinventing the formula, the poster sharing that CBS might be willing to re-air the show in a night-time slot was promising. I wish I had more of those signs, but I know it's too, too early.
I'm also skeptical about P&G's involvement. P&G has long history with soaps, we know that. But they haven't dealt with soaps since 2008 or so. Where has their know-how ended up? The people involved with soaps must have retired by now. And I'm sure they left no handbook.
As for B&B, I remember Brad Bell playing golf with one of Netflix's big bosses... I'm sure he has a back-up plan.

It took them 24 years to understand this, but hey not complaining.

KKL is a wonderful actress and she's never, ever phoned it in in 40 years.
Tanner is as good an actor as Ronn Moss, maybe even less.

Robert Parucha - another miscast. As Victor's brother he should have been a major player and it seemed like that was the intent - an Ashley/Matt/Nikki/Victor quad fermenting.
But Matt was so bland that nothing solid ever eventuated and then he was dropped and forgotten. He should have been rested then recast.
I've wanted Tom Selleck to take over the role of Matt as an act of stunt casting for decades...

I'm going to be the outlier here -- I really have no problem with the Crimson Lights set, including the jukebox, eyeballs, and puppet. I'd miss that set if they ended it or drastically changed it.
I agree with you! Crimson Lights looks cool and it's iconic.

But to be fair it is kinda what BB needs. New characters that actually look like they are bold and beautiful and not just old and washed up like Liam, Eric, Brooke, Ridge etc.
the only concern I have is the writing.
What is implied by the word ‘blonde’ is the word ‘white’.

The storyline in which Taylor conceived with a mistaken egg should have cancelled the show. CBS should have called Bell and told him to go somewhere else with this [!@#$%^&*]. Imagine giving birth to your biggest enemy's child. I am sure that's how it was pitched as an idea, but... not all ideas should be executed. Even this is compelling drama compared to today's standard. It gave us this scene.
Actually I loved this. Only problem is that it happened in such a dark, obscure time in B&B's history. And today it seems like it's never happened, so it's a waste.

A California blonde around the age of 20. That's exactly what we needed.

Why does Bill need a real estate agent for beach house that was already rented to RJ??? lol
Maybe she's Sheila's daughter who is a real estate agent and if she's just "one and done" why is she listed on a script Kimberlin posted on IG which most likely won't air till sweeps?
Exactly. It can't be a coincidence.

Kate Schettler Is Not Playing That Diana On ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’
Despite fan speculation, actress Kate Schettler has not joined "The Bold and the Beautiful" as Diana, the youngest daughter of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Is this the same source who shared with you the ‘shocking, never done before twist’ B&B was hyping last year? (which amounted to literally nothing)

Have I wanted them to bring back Diana for the longes time? Yes.
Have I faith in them doing Diana justice? No.

It would be particularly awkward for Abby to be in on this Claire ordeal given that Abby used to look exactly like Claire not long ago lol
