Just had a major nerd-out moment. Found out that a new friend I've made at karaoke the last few weeks is actually Constance Ford's neice AND is good friends of DAYS' Meredith Scott Lynn. I nearly fell over. AHHH!

So it rained...then it snowed....then it rained on the snow! I was unprepared, wore non-leather sneakers out, slipped and fell on my butt into the slush, and am now home, with a pair of dripping wet socks, and shoes, and a wet right buttcheek. *sigh*

My life is actually a sitcom. I mean, really. If you told someone the story of what happened to me this weekend, no one would believe you.

I feel like I know the answer to this, but why do I feel a profound sadness every time I watch a Labine-era GH clip, even now that the show isn't half as bad as it was a few years ago?

Watching John's 2007 "death" on DAYS just makes me angry. His coming back as RoboJohn after such an intense set of death scenes, it feels so cheap to have yet another "Stefano kidnapped and brainwashed him" story. I get why they did it, but dammit, death means squat on this show now, and John's un-death was probably the last nail in that coffin.

Damned forum go crazy while I'm having a nap. And I miss all the fun AGAIN.

When one realizes that AMC had Trevor call Michael a "f-----" in 1996, the reality that DAYS is playing things WAY too safe with their "gay boy" homophobia comments becomes incredibly glaring.
