I am actually loving the new layout for the site. It's so easy and nice looking. I hope they don't change it again for a while.

I really struggle writing Belinda's story. It feels so cliche. But I really want to hit the real emotions instead of just the big shockers! But still revelations are fun Though this will most likely be hte last time we see a story quite like this on FTL.

Ashlee is very fragile. I wanted her to go back to her original personality of being a fun, self-concious but still a little dark. This is the girl who shot Alan Spaulding for being mean to her Mom. Ashlee's story is only going to get more twisted and lead to a big love square!

The Vi/Jason/Maureen story is a fun love triangle with a huge twist that compleltely changes EVERYTHING!!!! I'm so excited for it to happen. It'll be so confusing until then.

Amanda wants David and she will do ANYTHING to get him.

Spencer has a long emotional recovery ahead.

LOL I love shocking people! That scene with Liz was so much fun to write all the way up to Aubrey walking over. I miss watching scenes like that, only soaps can really give you that feeling. Aubrey's story is going to be so surprising in the next chapter.

Belinda was a rebellious child already, but now they might as well put a loaded gun in one hand and a bottle of jack in the other hahaha

And murder? Hmmm... guess you'll have to wait and see. All I can say is that the chapter finale is getting closer and just when everything builds up as high as it can go, it all comes TUMBLING DOWN.

Just the title gets me excited!!!

Still mad at Lauren for ruining that moment! It's nice to see Lauren interacting with everyone. When people have stories where they are isolated from the others, it's easy to forget how interesting they can be.

I love how Ria can let her walls down a bit with Jasmine. It's nice to see that side of her, as well as the tough exterior. (BTW everytime I see Jasmine I think of A Different World lol).

WOW! Sister Pat's scene was intense!!! I have no idea where her character is going now! This was crazy! What made you decide to take her this route?

And I really thought that was going to be the last scene, so the DC scene surprised me even more! OMG! So many huge surprises. When will you post the next one? Lol Great job!

OMG! That was probably one of the best opening scenes you've ever had! So much good stuff! Once again I love big revelations that affect the whole town. And I love when stories tie into each other.

Wow such a romantic scene with Daniel and Sharan! That scene was written very well. I hope to see even more romance on STEAM I loved the poem too. The whole scene was romantic. Of course up until Lauren came over! Lol she had to ruin the moment. But it was still sweet.

AH!!!! Another courtroom story!!! I love these! Anything that brings all the characters together, brings up history from the show, along with everything else. This is going to be so much fun to read. I know you'll do a great job with it.

All of your stories are flowing nicely. And they keep me wanting to read the next one. And breaking some up into two parts has been great for your series!

Your opening scenes are good, they always set the mood for the episode.

I love Miss Rue taking down Alexis! Such a great triumph!

Damn DC doesn't mess around. I'm getting more interested in his story and relationship with Karim.

OMG! Such a good scene with Ria and Kiko. Must have been hard for her to refuse but she is strong and stubborn! Lol. Very nicely written.

Ah! Such a good ending! I love the mystery. I don't even want to guess! Lol. I really thought we were about to find out! Good cliff hanger!

The stories move faster because they conclude at the end of the chapter. It's harder but keeps me from forgetting things and letting things drag out too long.

Ashlee shoves her finger down her throat to throw up. That does some damge to your fingers.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. The young people living together has given me so much juicy drama! I can't wait for the revelation towards the end of Tumbling Down.

Reva is part of the Annie storyline. So in Tumbling Down she is grouped with her whole family for that one. But it's only a matter of time before Reva has something big. I just didn't want to keep it "The Reva Show", like it was sometimes on GL.

I'm glad you liked me using more younger characters. And I make sure they all have ties to the old GL characters, and I keep the older ones around too. But I think it's time for the next generation to take over the drama.

Oh yes, Annie has a lot of time to be sober and really plot good revenge. Everything comes to a climax in the Tumbling Down finale and you'll see what Annie's HUGE plan is that may or may not keep her out of prison. But I PROMISE Springfield will be changed after she is done.

I can't wait for you to read the rest of Tumbling Down!!! The next episodes will begin the month of February, and as we all know that's a sweeps month where soaps bring the BIG stuff

Yep. I knew that if I told this story for Ashlee again it had to be different. This time she isn't written with as much sympathy. She is acting irresponsible and this time it may have cost someone their life.

I'm glad you're getting so into the HIV mystery. I'm so excited for the revelation. It will happen before the end of Tumbling Down.

The Dinah and Belinda story is a little too cliche soapy, but it has to be told and I'm hoping to keep it interesting and make it more about the emotional impact than simply the shock.

I can see where you got confused. Jason is 100% straight lol. His twin brother Kevin is gay. In high school Jason had a crush on Maureen but she always liked bad boy Kevin, before Kevin and Rocky got together.

Kevin and Rocky are gay, Shayne has a bisexual past but is now engaged to Ava. As of now they are the only non-heterosexual characters... for now.

Lol there is a lot of sex in FTL now. It just seems to fit the mood now. IDK why.

Spencer is a very complicated character. So much stuff coming up with her.

Aubrey is one of my favorite characters to write for. She is unpredictable. And her story for the next chatper is going to be surprising.

I love giving the little details for Ashlee's story. Episodes 5-6 show just how bad things have got for her.

Robbie and Jude are cousins (unfortunatly most of the teens are related. if they aren't dating they are probably related). And this will cause some problems down the road. But mostly Spencer wanted Robbie to leave her alone.

I know exactly how you feel!!! I am loving writing FTL right now and I feel like all of my stories are just really coming out well. Sorta makes me more sad it's ending but I think it's great that our stories can go out on top like that you know?

As I've said before, I'm a sucker for big revelations and I love everytime someone is shocked at Lauren being alive. I'm glad it's taking time for her to ease back into Pasadena. I hate it when shows bring someone back like that and then just put a bow on it and move on.

I also liked the whole Blue Note scene. A lot of different characters intereacting and feuding. Very fun.

Ooh I'm excited to see this custody battle get ugly between Karim and Lauren.

I'm also liking Rufus's story. I'm not sure where it's going. Maybe there will be a shocking romance or danger ahead. Who knows? But I'm excited.

Damn very emotional stuff from Ria. One thing I love about stories like this is that it's different for everyone. And I'm loving the way it's being told for Ria. She's a strong woman and won't accept people feeling sorry for her.

Ooh bitch got slapped! Miss Rue is now in power. I wonder what Alexis will choose!!!! Can't wait to see what happens next.

OMG! Such a dark ending. I love this story for Sister Patterson. Sometimes she can be such a comedic character and others she can be very serious and dramatic. This clearly falls into the latter. Great job.

I thought the longer episode would be less fun to read but actually I think the smaller episodes before helped get into this one. Understanding everything better helps get invested and makes the reading seem shorter. Really good job, STEAM is very clear right now and your stories are all great.

I complelty understand your concern ML. I felt I couldn't tell this story without representing some stereotypes associated with it. Rocky is gay, Kevin is gay, and Eden was a call girl, I couldn't ignore the stereotypes surrounding this story. But yes at this point they have no idea which roommate is infected with HIV. But it will be revealed before the end of Tumbling Down, it's actually even more complicated then it seems. But damn it's sooooooo crazy!!! I still can't believe FTL is going there.

Gavin lives in New York. Marti came back to Springfield and is trying to forget everything.

Aubrey is pretty messed up in the head. She has some good stories coming up.

Gus and Harley are back together and they are a hot couple.

Leah is 16. The actress is a few years older but I do think that picture ages her a bit. So by the next chapter I'll have another picture. But we hardly see her this chapter anyway.

Can't wait to see what Rufus does!

Lauren finally being revealed to be alive has a been a great story and it seems almost everyone in Pasadena is affected somehow.

Anything that can get a big group of people involved is fun to watch.

So excited for all of this. I feel like now more than ever I'm really getting to know these characters. You're writing for plot has always been great but now you're character writing has become even better and more clear.

I'm so excited to see where everything goes and what else you have in store for us.

I love stories like this one with Lauren. One of my favorite parts of those kind of stories is people’s reactions. I’m glad you’re having everyone find out and letting us see their reactions. I hate it when shows gloss over that. Like “oh you’re alive omg,” then they are over it.

OMG shocking ending. This episode was good for so many reasons. I love the way you break them up now. The stories are much easier to follow.

I hope Ria is okay! Poor Ria.

I cannot wait to see what happens next. I’ve never been more into STEAM. This two parter thing is great, no joke.

So glad you enjoyed it. The chapters thing has really helped me organize my stories so that evertyhing happens faster but not too fast. And every episode can have something big.

And yes the HIV story was something I wanted to do this season and at the last minute I realized it was perfect for this chapter. The Musuem Apartment has helped that story with the mystery of which roommate has it.

Edmund and Marah are going to be huge in this chapter.

Annie has huge plans and her story is probably the biggest part of Tumbling Down. It will tie into at least 8-10 other characters.

Aubrey has been on the run from the law and is now hiding in Liz's place to stay close to Liz her worst enemy. Worst of all she is close to Liz's little baby.

So glad you loved it. The drama is going to keep coming, one crazy thing after another until it all comes tumbling down in the chapter finale.

They were probably the most popular characters. Ella was the most popular over all. The rest weren't as successful because one of the biggest complaints was MP2 had unloveable characters.

Each one of them has been compared to another character from the original series: Amanda, Allison, Billy, Jake, Jo, Sydney, etc.

Wow a really good episode. This really helps learn more about the characters. Reminds of Guiding Light when they did the Inside the Light episodes that focused on one storyline or one character. Though those were sometimes horrible the character sucked.

Really helps understand everything too.

We'll see in the next episode. What happens with Kevin and Rocky. But the bigger concern was for Rocky who was running towards the car right before it blew up.

And yeah I wanted Marti's scene to be a surprise because it certainly was to her. She uses her body to get what she wants and this time it backfired on her.

Last year after my hiatus the show jumped ahead a year. It was obvious at first but after a while it wasn't because everything fell perfectly into place thank goodness.

Yep but Marah's real choice is either screwing over her family or letting Edmund turn her in for Ava's kidnapping.

Aubrey was Jonathan's sweet wife he returned with but she turned out to be a psycho who faked a pregnancy, kidnapped Marina's baby, shot Liz and caused a number of crazy things that affected lives all over Springfield. She has been on the run ever since and now she's back!!!

The rest of the episodes will be Season 4 the final year of FTL beginning from January to December storyline wise.

Yep and the whole chapters thing helps because other people don't have to leave the show but they can be on the back burner for one chapter and then get a bigger storyline in the next. Sort of rotating people in and out.

Very different. The first episode is more of an intro sort of episode. And it all takes place during one day but the rest of the series will not be like that.

It's soooo different but fun. And much easier in some senses. I don't have to plan out far ahead and I don't have to worry about over using people and forgetting about others.

I'd say at least 15 of the current cast will be gone by the end of the third chapter.
