To me it felt like she was playing Rebecca Hotchkiss from Passions in some moments.

Exactly. Tina was a bit humorous in her 80s run, but the writers turned her into Rebecca in that return. It was as if they knew nothing about Tina.

That's who this situation needs: Stephanie Forrester.  Or at least Susan Flannery.

But seriously.  I wouldn't put it past him to refuse to leave OR for the Secret Service (or whoever) to remove him.  In fact, at this point, I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump and his camp set up a sort of "second government" from within the WH (and if not there, then, ultimately, somewhere nearby).  Of course, the other branches of government would be forced to recognize Biden's administration as the only, legitimate administration.  But, like I said, I wouldn't put it past them.

"GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE, YOU MISERABLE BASTARD! YOU LOST!" would definitely be a Stephanie line.

Silliness aside, I think Secret Service will have to put him out and might have to get DC Police involved. Anyway, not leaving the White House would do him no good because all security clearances and passwords will still be revoked on inauguration day. I also think that it's possible that Trump will try to start a shadow government, but not even Russia will recognize that and it will just be some weird cult like monarchy to bilk his supporters out of more money.

  3. Apparently Trump has floated not leaving the White House on January 20th. Not surprising.

A point in favor of “delusional” comes via

CNN, which reports that Trump not only insists he actually won the 2020 election but has maintained at times that he will not vacate the premises on January 20, when his term ends. “In his moments of deepest denial,” it reports, “Trump has told some advisers that he will refuse to leave the White House on Inauguration Day, only to be walked down from that ledge.”

What are some other soap instances of characters being dragged out of a place? I know on B&B Stephanie had Thorne drag Donna out of the Forrester mansion and once had Brooke thrown out by security.

  4. I really want to vent about this somewhere. An assistant pastor from a church in my community that has been flouting social distancing rules and making the pandemic political has tested positive for COVID-19. I won't say the name of the church, but some of you might have come across a news article about it at some point during this whole mess.

In that situation, he also put lives at risk by going down to 'Ground Zero' without a mask, with toxic dust swirling around. Sadly, his poor example was followed by a number of frontline workers, rescue workers, etc. who, unlike Giuliani, were not there for a brief photo-op but worked 12+ hour days inhaling toxic dust, which would eventually sicken and kill many of them.

So he really didn't do what most self-respecting mayor would do--a self respecting mayor would've worn a mask and asked workers to do the same.

Like I said, narcissistic and selfish trash.

Speaking of narcissistic selfish trash, the corruption associated with the current occupant of the WH knows no depths, it appears.

My memory is a little fuzzy on some aspects of 9/11 but now that you mention it I do remember how Giuliani went down there as a photo op. That makes it even more pathetic that many people bought into his fake caring image.

  6. Giuliani was given an undeserved image boost after 9/11. He went to ground zero and so many low information people ate it up like it was some magnanimous gesture when he was doing exactly what any Mayor would and should have done. The "America's Mayor" bunk totally ignored how trashy he is and that he was representative of racial polarization in NYC.

In reality back then Usenet was how soaps were discussed on the early internet and most people only had access from work. I recall reading that soap operas got their own Usenet group because primetime viewers became irritated at seeing topics about soaps posted in the TV group.

lol...I just did a status update about this.  Should have looked here first.

That foolery deserved status update too. Not everyone reads this thread, so it's good that you posted it so that people could laugh at this idiocy, lol.
