I'm just sitting here, laughing at the thought of a potential president having a past as an owner of a metaphysical bookstore. It's like the ladies of "Designing Women" finding out that whoever ran Psychic World Bookstore was running for office. (Oh, Julia Sugarbaker would be livid at the thought of having to vote for someone like that, lol.)
It's like that show was almost prophetic in a way, because Julia did once call Donald Trump on the phone and gave him a piece of her mind. Then there was how Julia ran for office against a right-wing extremist.

Even tonight Mayor Pete did better than I expected and I felt like Sanders and Gillibrand (despite her constant interruptions) were good, but Sen. Harris was far and away the leader on stage. Every time she has a town hall, hearing or opportunity to speak to the public she delivers. The thoughts of her against Trump in a debate are just insane. He wouldn't be able to handle her.
I also was shocked by her comments towards Biden, but I loved them. He is truly a mediocre candidate who did a poor job (as he always does in debates) and she needed to break out strong to have a chance. Had she done everything the same EXCEPT addressing Biden, all the press would've been about how she did a wonderful job and will make a great VP for Biden. She is NOT running to be Biden's VP and that's the mold the press keeps putting her in. "Yes he's middle of the road, but Kamala will save the day." No. She's running for president and needs to be treated as such. I think she did a great job of ending those talks and forcing people to consider her as a candidate.
She is definitely a force to be reckoned with and is one of the people if not the main person that Trump is concerned about running against. Someone so corrupt isn't going to do well in debates against a prosecutor who is used to cutting down absurd arguments.
One of the stations in Los Angeles had a panel of undecided voters watch the debate and their opinion was that Biden came off as overconfident, too comfortable and like he had already won the nomination.

Marianne Williamson is in the race to sell books. Being an author who was featured by Oprah is a far more comfortable life than being President, but running will boost your sales and in turn keep your bank account full. With that said her answer about race was on the mark, because people truly do not want to acknowledge race issues in the US.

I'm afraid to ask because I'm sure they'd be just awful to watch, but are their debates for Trump and the Republicans? Or does the sitting President not have anyone true against them from their own party?
There won't be any debates. He has one challenger in former Massachusetts Governor William Weld, but that's a low key challenge that won't go anywhere.

Busing was what showed how much racism or at minimum prejudice existed in cities. In the San Fernando Valley an anti-busing conservative managed to win a congressional seat back in 1980 even though it as a mostly Democratic district (granted Reagan's huge win helped). The displays of opposition to busing were quite ugly and were bipartisan.

Harris did what she needed to do in order to stand out and be a real contender. Mentioning that Biden was against busing and that she was bused was a critical moment that can get her the attention of black voters.

I think Eric Trump made up a story about being spat on. The restaurant says that they didn't see the incident and there are no witnesses saying that it occurs. The Secret Service detained someone, but they could have done that based just on caution because he claimed someone spat on him. If it is truly I think he provoked the incident by trying to touch the woman or making an inappropriate comment. He isn't pressing charges which is surprising for someone from such a vindictive family.

Good. Dana Loesch is a really evil person.

Been watching the train wreck without commenting. And I'm not talking about the soaps.

This one I was watching today and it really drew me in. I don't think I've seen a talk show portrayed on a soap opera before.

Rep. Norma Torres delivered quite a message to anti-choice men on the House floor

Chua is nothing but a madam. She taught women how to dress to appeal to Kavanaugh and get work with him. Nothing but dirty.

Trump trails Biden in Texas and only very narrowly leads everyone else.

I can understand why he would do it. He's polling very low and needs the exposure to Democrats that might tune in to Fox just to see a Democratic candidate.

Wanda Sykes cannot act. Such a wooden performance.

Usually I don't approve of people intimidating politicians, but Nigel Farage is so disgusting that I really cannot feel bad for him.
Pelosi is deliberately pushing Trump's buttons. The things that she says sometimes are worded to set him off and it is incredibly hilarious. Saying that you'll pray for someone is a good way to set them off.

The documents contained proposals for several ways to further exacerbate racial discord in the future, including a suggestion to recruit African-Americans and transport them to camps in Africa “for combat prep and training in sabotage.” Those recruits would then be sent back to America to foment violence and work to establish a pan-African state in the Southern U.S., including South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
There is no indication that the plan — which is light on details — was ever put into action, but it offers a fresh example of the mindset around Russian efforts to sow discord in the U.S.
The blueprint, entitled “Development Strategy of a Pan-African State on U.S. Territory,” floated the idea of enlisting poor, formerly incarcerated African-Americans “who have experience in organized crime groups” as well as members of “radical black movements for participation in civil disobedience actions.”

In an interview Thaao once called the actor who played Bart "delicious". It was in the context of acting, but I still think only a gay man would call anyone delicious in any context.

With Biden's issues with Anita Hill think it's a little problematic that a woman of color is being asked if she will back up an elderly white man on the ticket so far in advance of the voting. I think the response was more to the reporters asking the questions more than an actual swipe at Biden.
He wouldn't pick her anyway. He'd pick some generic white man that supposedly would not threaten white working class men who don't like the idea of a woman or person of color with too much authority.

That opening looks like something a fan would make. It looks so unprofessional. I don't watch GH, but I saw the discussion about a cheap opening from the side bar and had to come see for myself. Seriously, there are amateur people on Youtube who could have done a better job with an opening.

The whole thing with him kissing and hugging women makes me very reluctant to vote for him if he's the nominee. Besides that I think he'd find a way to lose since he's always been incredibly inept and gaffe prone.

Wendy Vitter's husband is a whore who slept with prostitutes and has a diaper fetish. I take consultation in the fact that she was cheated on and humiliated by his antics. Yes, that is petty, but at this point it's hard not to be petty.
And I'm sure the Pentagon had to be sprayed with Lysol. Gene Simmons looks like he smells like a dead skunk.

B&B: Nick Marone. He was onscreen a lot for years and now it's like he never existed. Although I expect that Bell will make use of his son with Brooke and Taylor at some point.
