    Good Lord! TVLand aired The Golden Girls ep “Mother’s Day” the other day and I JUST knew a whole segment had been edited out regarding 1950’s Sophia!!! Thankfully it’s in its entirety on Hulu but  I’m starting to notice cable nets are really editing reruns to the bare bones.

      That's one of the reasons I don't watch cable reruns unless it's something I really want to see and it isn't available elsewhere. TV Land is trash anyway.

      Yes, they edit a lot, but I won't give up the stations that play nothing but oldies.  Didn't know TV Land still existed.  Gotta check Xfinity.

      Yup, the edits have gotten really bad. Even the GG dvds have some edits on some of the episodes. It really doesn't affect the episode because its usually a line that didn't flow with the rest of the punch lines.
