  1. I guess Jason figured Danny had to get involved in the family business at some point, so might as well make him an accessory 😂😂

Wait we skipped over Michael finding out about Jason?!

Jason’s been back a day and Drew had already grown out his depression beard. I honestly don’t feel bad for Drew. Back when Jason came back to life the first time, Carly and Sonny dropped him so fast your head could’ve spun off. The fact that he’s now in a relationship with Carly makes no sense to me but I guess things changed when I wasn’t watching.

He gives zero fcks. He just out here flaunting and embarrassing Porsha without a care in the world. I actually do feel bad for her but in a way she is getting karma for the way she conducted herself when she got with him.

And what the heck is wrong with bravo and why havent they announced the new cast and begun filming yet? This stuff is happening in real time and Porsha can skate addressing it bc there is a new headline every other day. I want to see the women react to it, talk to her about it, judge her, rally behind her, etc.... Stop waiting

ETA: I got more Porsha tea

Oh my gosh this is so juicy. Are they seriously not filming right now?!!

  3. Another Newman family meeting without Abby. Does she even know she has a new niece or that Victoria’s house burned down?

Do the writers or set people realize how much booze is served on Y&R?  They drink everywhere!  Nikki needs to get out of Genoa City to sober up.

It’s actually shocking there aren’t more alcoholics running around town. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tucker ever without booze in his hand whether it’s in his room or the restaurant.

Yes I am going to grab the gif of John slamming Marlena into a door because it's hilarious and also abuse etc so I am not advocating it, but still makes me laugh.  I can't find the actual scene but this is a fantastic silly montage. At approx 5:30 in

Okay.  I just wasn't clear.  John was healthy and of mostly sound mind.  He just wanted nothing to do with his past life.

Oh my gosh the slam into the door and then the way he looks at the other woman 😂. Pure camp.

That was a crazy situation. I have discussed it at length on SON but I will say again: You know GH, so you know most of the time over the years it takes Jason a blood test, an 18-month waiting period and a counsel with God to get with a woman, and Steve prefers not to do big love scenes. You also probably know that Steve has had a veto on Jason and Carly since the late '90s, when he told the writers (including Patrick Mulcahey in those days) he no longer wanted them paired romantically. And untl 2021 or so Jason and Sam was the tiresome law of the land.

But something went down BTS in a big way all of a sudden in Steve's last year. Kelly Monaco, who had been very vocal about not being into a reunion and preferring Sam stay with Billy Miller's Drew/NuJason after Steve first returned in '17, was checked out for a long time. And around the end of 2020 Jason and Sam suddenly and unceremoniously ended with very little fanfare after almost 20 years. Then over the course of the next 10-11 months Jason suddenly gets with not one but two new women. First Britt, who he has no long history with, gets a really explicit and passionate love scene from Steve which he generally doesn't do a lot of - I had not seen him turn it on like that since maybe the Liason ONS in 2006(?), if not earlier. Then they turn on a dime mid-summer and have Jason fall for Carly again during their 'fake marriage' to try to keep the mob together. it was crazy. I still don't know what all happened there, or where this will go now.

That all sounds great. I truly hope Jason and Sam stay apart. That is a completely played out couple.

As Britt's #1 hater since 2012 I am here to tell you she is dead as shît. "The Hook" (Heather Webber, though that seems like a hasty rewrite) got her on New Year's Day(?) 2023 when Britt threw down with her to save Joss on the docks. Britt survived that fight but got hit with Heather's poisoned hook and later died in Obrecht's arms, but not before the show threw an insane onscreen super-gay farewell party for her over NYE because I think Britt was already planning on leaving town. I know she had her fans but I'm sorry, they threw that big a party for Britt?!

Anyway, I believe it may have been KT's request so she couldn't be tempted to come back. She was notably pissed to be left holding the bag when Steve quit/was fired and she couldn't do the Jason/Britt story.

I actually liked Britt 😂. I was stunned to hear she was ever in Jason’s orbit and that they actually had chemistry. I actually want to see it.

Anna telling Carly she would eat ground glass to give Jason a head start was an AMAZING line. Because it’s so damn true.

In fairness there's a decent few: Portia, Elizabeth, Willow (ugh), Finn and T.J. I think that's all of them. It's just that the latter three are a total bust or nonentities. Fake Nurse Amy appeared the other day but doesn't count for me; Felix almost never appears and good riddance. The show has also lost Epiphany, Britt, Obrecht and Austin (neither a big loss IMO and I never liked Britt) and for all intents and purposes a regularly-appearing Monica over the last couple years.* It used to be fairly robust. I agree it needs to be replenished. Starting with Lucas.

It seems PM wants to dispense with the umpteenth Jason back from the dead reveal as fast as possible and I don't blame him. I'm more into the why and how.

(* - I guess Bobbie wouldn't count, as I don't recall if she was still working there at the end and she wasn't seen as much as the rest)

I’m definitely enjoying how fast his return is going since we just did this I believe in the last decade or so with him.

I believe Britt's party was Jan. 2023 so I don't think we've seen him since her memorial, so maybe it's now been a year. How time frakin' flies!

    If so, I missed it.

Holy [!@#$%^&*] they killed off Britt?!?

I have seen this look on Ava's face in Spinelli's lair many times before. @DRW50 knows of her "Fire Marshall Bill" mode. Once Jason came into the picture she was shitting herself. I'm guessing she knows that if Jason is on the scene that whatever she is up to has gone sideways.

Fire Marshall Bill mode is hilarious.

Wow the Jason and Carly scenes were so good today. I don’t need the two to be romantic but that is a friendship that should always be prominent and they did not disappoint. Great acting from SB and LW especially when Carly had to tell Jason Bobbie was dead.

Man those scenes surprised me how good they were. Laura and Steve sell that relationship so well.

    Well...that. lol.

In any case, I find myself leaning toward liking Jason's return so far. And I knew I was surprisingly invested when Carly first laid eyes on him. And my reaction was to gasp. I wasn't expected it yet. lol. But it's just the fact that almost every day has been a cliffhanger this week so far. It's making me think of Diane's return on Y&R in which you could feel and see the ripple effects of them coming back because she can still touch on EVERYONE. Same with Jason. And I almost teared up right along with Carly cuz I forgot...Jason wasn't there when Bobbie passed. Just such a bittersweet scene. I hated Anna interrupting. I think my favorite scenes so far have been the Carly/Jason ones and also Ava revealing the truth to Sonny.

Speaking of Ava/Sonny, I was wondering if they were going to go there. Over the last few years, they really have been great co-parents. And then with her in the penthouse...I admit I was hmmmm. But I shook it off. But wow. All I can say is...I'm not against it, and I don't mind. I found it weird when I came back to regularly watching that Ava and Nina were friends. Moreso cuz Nina was played by MS when I left. That will be messy.

I'm not even their biggest fans and even I went 'awwww' to Spin and Maxie kissing. Them against John was a riot to me. And they do seem to be coming into their relationship from a more mature place.

In case I didn't mention it...outside of Bebe's Maxie's kids...I have been really enjoying seeing the next generation of PC kids. I know it has been talked about often here about how there are soo many kids running around and we rarely see them. Then they pop up, and it's like 'who's kid is that?' But over the last year, they have been popping up regularly and even had little arcs as well. So that said...I do have to ask...is this the first time they have had an aged Rocco though? I liked his scene with Laura. I also liked how they contrast his personality vs Danny's personality. And I'm always here for Jake cuz duh. lol.

Could it be happening? Is Alexis about to go back to being a lawyer?

    Just watched. Same.

I agree with all of this.

As for Friday, I think Kate Mansi, Burton and LW all did good work. They've really played the beats and impact of the shooting across the canvas. This would admittedly play differently for me if it was Lexi Ainsworth at Dante's bedside (or Sarah Brown with the unexpectedly emotional Steve), but oh well.

They are also wisely playing up the tension with Nina and Ava (who I still think is back on baddie time while also possibly catching genuine feelings for Sonny in the process of her long con on him and the local mob families; she's gone down bad for worse). People forget that Ava stole Nina's husband in the '90s which led to Nina ending up in a coma for 20 years and coming out a psychotic bent on vengeance. History could easily repeat here and Nina is still not very tightly wound, as the unhinged mania of Cynthia Watros often reminds us. I don't think it would take much for Nina to snap again if that happened twice and I think it is on the show's mind. They are also clearly setting up Alexis going back to the law via the conversation with Diane.

It is wild to remember that Carly's Bed Bath and Beyond makeover house is still Sonny's Greystone Manor, the set Maurice allegedly made the show give him in the mid-2000s when he wanted a home with the stature of Wyndemere. Too many sets/homes in town these days have the all-white BB&B knockoff Nancy Meyers look, including the Quartermaine mansion, but I've been over that before. At least it's not all grey paint and monochrome like in the early-mid 2010s. It has improved, but I'd like to see more color/style variety.

Mansi sold me as Kristina today. And older maturer Kristina. You could definitely feel her in the bedside scene with Dante.

I am not exactly sure what your asking, but John was RoboJohn no memory John when Ava/John dated.  IMO, there was no coercion or force.  John just wasn't "normal" John.

Yeah and RoboJohn was actually totally fine staying that way forever. RoboJohn used to make audibly laugh out loud. Drake was hilarious. RoboJohn was such a dick too 😂

We've been talking about this in this thread and the last for awhile. I've had my suspicions about Ava being behind all this for a minute. My take still is that it's cat and mouse: Ava didn't know Jason had infiltrated whatever this outfit is, and Jason may not know Ava is involved.

Oh man I just finished the episode and even Mo seems awake during this Ava game. That last scene when he says what if it’s true she’s the only one he can trust. He was lit up!

I hope she’s playing Sonny. They should never be pals ever.

Also Kirsten Storms seems awake in her scenes now especially with ugh Spinelli 😂

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed Charrisse's downsized abode. I swear the way she moves around, trying to have a moment, she's the embodiment of the word 'heifer.'

Charrisse is just not going to happen and I don't know why the producers keep trotting her out season after season.

Keiarna definitely fit in well this episode...but it feels like a late addition in an attempt to jazz up a boring season. Look forward to them showing that explosive fight next week.

RHOP has seriously flopped this year.

Sunday was the first episode I watched live since the beginning of the season. Potomac literally used to be near the tippity top but now there’s just nothing but people ignoring each other or having the same arguments over and over because this cast doesn’t think they’ll be changes if they keep this [!@#$%^&*] up.

Loved seeing Grace go off to college as well as the fun Karen and Gizelle scene. Those two deciding to just have fun with each other this year has been so welcome. They still shade the hell out of each other but it’s not malicious.

The only people I have thought LW has ever had romantic chemistry with on GH was IR and SK's AJ .  Maybe early RH as Todd. She's great at platonic chemistry, but not great at romantic chemistry on GH.  I know she's had it in spades on other shows.  It's weird, but I don't think the people Carly interacts with play to her romantic heroine strengths.

These three are my exact answers as well. I really liked Carly and Todd a lot.

And when LW/IR were paired up, I never wanted her to be forced back to Sonny.

I just got to the episode where Ava shows Sonny Jason is alive. Why does it feel like Ava really wants Sonny to think Jason is against him? Is she potentially on Jason’s hit list for Sonny when he returns to the fold?

Holy cow, Danny and Rocco are grown all the way up. Really enjoyed Carly with Danny, she was the perfect aunt in that scene. And loved Laura with Rocco. GF plays the grandma role so well without feeling old and matronly.

Ditto on the Keiarna. She is fitting in nicely and I like her sassy side. And she has her own thriving business. Nice!

And yes, the Robyn/Candaice "why can't y'all kiss and make up?" debate is stale. Whenever they end an episode with these two going at it, I always want the announcement at the end to say, "next week on the season finale..." because it's been drawn out too long.

That said, here comes the fight!

Also, I enjoyed the Karen/Gizelle bonding scenes over their daughters, and seeing Gizelle's genuine emotions taking her daughter to college.

Oh Charrisse... still trying to have your moment. LOL, I always bust out laughing when I see her flopping around in anger.  Poor thing had to downsize and give up her house and now her custom-made fancy "champagne room" is merely the downstairs family room.

The new champagne room cracked me up 😂

Keiarna feels like a really good natural fit with the group. Why the producers waited until the end of the season to actually let us get to know her was really stupid.

The 3 part reunion was excellent and shows that when a franchise is cohesive and working, a reunion of this length can be justified and enjoyable for the audience.

    BH

On the other hand, this reunion could easily have been 2 episodes.

Kathy gave us more in 90 seconds than Kyle has in 3 episodes. Kyle never, ever, is straightforward. She just hints and leaves other people to explore what she's talking about, and then becomes indignant when they do, despite the fact she's baited them all along.

For a woman who has demanded that other people "just be honest" she's the biggest hypocritical [!@#$%^&*] on Bravo. What she's angry at the women for doing about M*rg*n W*d* is exactly what she did to Denise Richards with Brandi. One need only look back to the episode where Kyle said to LVP "I've had a lot of sh-t going on in my life too!" when LVP tearfully explained she'd been in London for her brother's funeral after he died by suicide to know that Kyle is a self centred [!@#$%^&*] and always will be.

Just imagine the crying we'd been subjected to if someone had dismissed her feelings about her friend's suicide? We'd never hear the end of it! Yet when it came to LVP she was merciless. She is such a ghoul, like Rinna before her.

I now hope Dorit comes back next season and goes guns blazing for Kyle. Mention it all, Dorit!

I honestly hate when I’m reminded of more of Kyle’s disgusting hypocrisy. I’ve despised her since the moment she outted Kim in the limo, and honestly this reunion was her at her absolute worst. She’s so protected by the network we’ll never get the proper Kyle villain season.

  15. Got to Jason’s first appearance. I think because the last time Jason died and I was watching regularly, his return during the Drew storyline hit harder. I didn’t see him die this time and I’ve been enjoying Harris on Days. So Jason suddenly being on the roof with a sniper on Sonny didn’t hit as hard for me. Granted that might change when I see him with the other characters. But tbh Jason was a dead end for me because Burton wouldn’t let the character just embrace the Quartermaines fully it felt like despite even with brain damage, they were still in his life for decades. BMJason/Drew was exactly what I wanted from the character.

Even Jason being there for Dante, did nothing for me.

I didn’t watch GH in the 90’s so white Jagger and Sonny means nothing to me. I do support as many characters as Possible hating Sonny though. I’ve hated him since Faith was killed off.

Also I love Tracy with Brooklyn but they dress like they’re the same age when Tracy is the grandmother.

  16. For my GH/DAYS fans how long did it take you to accept Mansi as Kristina? She’s still my favorite Abby and despite how people feel about her Lexi was the Kristina I watched with Sonny and Alexis so it’s hard for me to watch Kate at times.

It WAS random. lol. But I grew to look Martin...especially when he got with Lucy. And his relationship with Laura has been good as well. Cyrus...love the actor, NOT the character. And ever since his first comeuppance, the writers don't see to know what to do with him. Scratch that...the strike writers seem to know what to do with him.

Those were good episodes re: Spencer/Esme. Though I would say watch all of last week from 2/26 because those were pretty good character development scenes, nice setup that did flow and have a sense of going somewhere in terms of plot. Of course, it is also setting up Jason's return. And who doesn't like Ms. Wu? ;)

    Thank you my friend!

    RHOM Reunion:

Maybe because I'm an adult... but the sight of grown women acting like toddler doesn't really appeal to me.  It's actually not a good look for women, and allowing Nepo Baby to speak on the women during International Womens month is very counter productive... especially when he lacks the charisma and talent of his father.

I know all of you are happy with the current cast of Miami... but I think it is time for Larsa to go.  Lisa and Adriana can easily slip into the villianess mode and also add a newbie next season as well.

I'm not surprised most of the other women had no idea about Kiki and her life... because she doesn't trauma dump nor do the women view her as a real friend.  After all, she's just a 'friend of'.. not an actual co worker (in their eyes anyway).

    RHOBH reunion

Kyle is a Robyn Dixon with some Gizelle mixed in... she isn't lead character at all.  Why else did she bring on both Kim and Kathy this season... because she knows she isn't the main attraction.  Kim had a few memes/gifs done about her during her brief cameo this season... and Kathy was at the reunion and getting more attention then Kyle.

On the surface, Sutton buying a horse and going on blind dates isn't front burner material... but she presented a lot of context that helped make those events more interesting.  She talked of her past marriage, how she was the typical hostess wife, how she had to find herself after the divorce, and then realized that she was ultra controlling as a defense mechanism from her years being controlled by her ex.   Lots of subtext and backstory.. which makes people want to watch and root for you.

Kyle lacks that ability to offer context and backstory.. she comes across as fake and performative... she lacks the over the top quirkiness of Kathy nor the little engine that could element of Kim... nor is as funny/witty as LVP was during her time on the show.

Agree with all of this about Kyle. This reunion is just Kyle being a complete gaslighting hypocritical ass.
