Tony and Jane remind me a bit-the honesty and lack of pretense between them-of my best guy friend back in the day, who I haven't talked to in a long while and whose b-day is today, actually. Makes me miss him.

They better still give us Tracy after TG is gone. And if Tracy is going to be around, she better get a new love interest and things to do, otherwise, she might as well leave town with Luke.

Looking forward to the final scenes between them. I know TG is optimistic, but I don't see him coming back. Maybe when GH finally ends, but otherwise....I don't think it's going to happen.

Tracy's had some good stuff, Jane's looking good, I love her with Ned and Michael and Lulu. And yet, can't help but always see that Tracy/Jane is just an appendage to whatever man-her husband, her son, her nephew.

It's never about her. Sad.

But she's on, right, and she gets great moments and steals every show she's in, so that's good.

So, what is that hanging on Emme's wall? Are those balls of yarn? Kind of strange.....lol I wasn't sure what to make of that. I know the pink thing is a ball of yarn, but on the walls?

I do like that Emme and Jane seem to be so close, but I can't help but wonder if she and Julie keep in touch.

I liked that article. Jane is a sly little minx, ain't she? I counted several jabs she got in there. One about the female EP's all sucking up to the men, and let's face it, she could be meaning Wendy Riche and GLoria Monty as well as JFP.

Oh, and me thinks that "certain actor" has to be Genie Francis. Because the only time I've seen Jane really get called names like "old cow" (and that's one of the nicer ones), it's been by L&L and/or Laura/Genie fans. I don't think Skye fans or anyone else called her names the way those people did. And how she said that actor had the power to say something and stop it and didn't. Although I guess that's really unfair, Genie isn't forcing those people to act like hateful witches. They are responsible for their own selves. Still, a bit of a burn towards GF, unless I'm missing something and she's talking about someone else.

I agree with Jane about social media. I hate Facebook-it's a great way to keep in touch with long distance friends and relatives, but otherwise, I think it sucks. No offense to anyone that loves it. It just isn't for me. I have an account so if I *need* to keep up with someone, I can do it, but I never post on my own page.

I miss Tracy-this whole Fluke thing should have her in a major role-and she's hardly on. *sigh*

Hmm. I wonder if "tries" means he doesn't succeed, and blows up in front of her? Definitely suspicious wording there.

I wish I cared about Ned's choice of woman, I just don't. I don't have a horse in that race. I do love some Ned, just wish he'd have more time with his mama and less time chasing women who quite frankly, are not worthy of him.

What did JE say? I can't watch that at work. I'm disappointed that Larry seems to be painted thus far as pretty much a full fledged villain this time around. Not even a hint that he is being forced to do any of it. And did Hugo Napier always lisp? I don't remember it from before. He definitely has one now, though. Maybe a denture issue? LOL Sorry, it was the only thing I could think of. As far as LLC being pregnant, if they introduce it in the show at all, it'll be Olivia carrying Lante's kid I bet.

Trash was fun yesterday, but TBH I don't remember Ashton drinking THAT much. Back in the day he and Tracy both drank a lot, but I think Tracy drank more.....however that could be my faulty memory. While he and Luke do have similarities (hey, Ashton even used to have a boat, wonder what happened to it), he is not just an English version of Luke and I hope they don't try to press that issue.

Did LOVE the moment when Larry said something about hearing Tracy's "dulcet tones" and called her darling.Then he and Tracy just stared at each other. Yes, they still have that spark.

I missed them, didn't realize how much. But I will say, the look on Larry's face when Tracy got her text from Jerry-oh. Please don't let Larry be involved in all this. I'm afraid he is, though, just based on that brief expression.

I enjoyed the Tracy interactions with Patrick and Sam, but it was lame that a world traveler like Tracy wouldn't know about Amsterdam's "Coffee houses". She has spent at least half her life traveling/living abroad. It makes far more sense that SAM would have not known. Not Tracy.

Lame.

I wonder how the show will explain Lord Ashton. From what I recall, Tracy ordered him to leave the mansion after she refused his proposal, and he did leave, but the audience learned he had been somewhat involved with the Cartel(and perhaps had proposed to her to get her ELQ shares, much like Harlan and Paul tried to do). It was also implied that Larry was "taken care of" offscreen.

Of course, it was never announced on screen to the other characters that Larry was dead or anything. So I wonder: will TPTB remember this, and explain if he survived or what? Because it would be interesting if Larry was "dead" but put on ice this whole entire time by Helena, and that he was also one of them brought back to life.

Either way, Larry's been gone so long, he's got a lot of explaining to do.

Can't wait for him to come back. This show needs some fresh air, badly. I just hope the Trash dynamic hasn't changed. If she isn't calling him Ashton and they aren't scheming, IDK if I want it.

I do have to wonder though, if the rumors about Luke dying and Tony retiring are true, and they are bringing Hugo on for Jane to have someone as a romantic interest.

I hope not, I personally hope Tony sticks around as long as Jane does...but I know his health the last several years has not been great.

Had to come back and say...you know, Tracy may come off as stupid to some, re: Fluke. BUT she is actually right: LUKE would never do the things Fluke is accused of. LUke would never threaten Ned or have Lucas shot, etc. She is actually the only one sticking up for Real Luke and still believing in him.

Still, it's a very big leap to "you're not my husband and you must be a fake". I don't know how or why they'll start to realize Luke is being held captive and drugged.

I am happy, if they bring back old Larry and don't ruin him. I am afraid though, that he is the "something worse" than Victor, that is Nathan's father.

Which OTOH, makes me happy that Ned might get more family if true. I mean, I really can see Dr O and Larry having a fling. But I don't want evil Larry.

He was greedy and sometimes lazy, but not evil.

And I want Larry to jam on his saxophone and Wally on his guitar, just because. Although HN never actually acted with Wally, it's still Ned and Larry.

I enjoyed the Tracy/Lulu moments from last week, and I am looking forward to more Tracy today and this week. I just hope the Sam/Tracy/Patrick stuff is good.

MsQ, I've seen Jessie, my nieces watch it sometimes. I just can't hack CH in any role, she annoys me. I've seen her character on that show, to me she is just a more hoity toity Diane Miller.

I think my biggest issue with CH is that I always know she's acting. She never feels natural to me, and if I'm going to get lost in a character, that's important.

halee I'm still considering taking it off the DVR, I haven't done it yet. Truthfully, considering cutting the cable off again because I either am never home to watch, or sometimes watch too much, and can't see the point of either wasting the money or time, LOL. If I do that, I'll definitely have to catch the clips online.

For now though, still DVRng and skipping through until someone interesting pops up.

I think RKK has aged very well, but Stavros is a little too cray cray for me, though it should be interesting to see Tony and Robert mixing it up again. I think it's sad how dynamic the Cassadines used to be, and how boring they are now. I'm disappointed they are going the direction they are with Victor, and how Thaao and Jane may never even get a scene together. But since Victor is borderline evil and a bit cray cray himself, perhaps that's for the best.

Still, though. What a missed opportunity, Thaao, Jane and Tony in a room trading quips. Ah well. Maybe we'll still get it?

Surprised it's Sam and Patrick that Tracy is teaming up with, but since they now know the "truth" about "Luke", I guess that makes sense.

And EEEEE!! Patrick/Tracy scenes. I don't even really care WHY. Just Jason/Jane.

Any new clues/new guesses to who Fluke is? I thought at the beginning that he had a vendetta against Tracy too, whoever he is. Someone online somewhere suggested he could be Mitch Williams. It would make sense Mitch would want to hurt Tracy AND Luke and if he still has mob ties, want to hurt Sonny.

It would also jibe with "Fluke" hitting on anything in a skirt.

I think Mitch is the suggestion that makes the most sense. Fluke isn't a Cassadine, because of "inbred" remarks he made about them. I also don't think he's Gino Soleito(and why would Gino target Luke?) or any Soleito for that matter, because the Soleitos knew Olivia and Dante via Bensonhurst. Yet Fluke acted as if he'd never met Olivia, and couldn't remember Dante's name.

So, not a Cassadine, not a Soleito. I think Bill Eckert is also still a possibility, though.

However-Frank or Damian Smith remain a good guess.

I do think it will be between Mitch, one of the Smiths, or Bill.

MsQ-yep, her hair looks black. A possible way to disguise herself when they go looking for Fluke, maybe?

Yeah, still not feeling Ned/Olivia, though I am glad Wally is being given something to do.

I think I'm going to remove GH from the DVR, if someone here would be sweet enough to either posts Quartermaine related clips, or they could direct me to a place where I could get them. I find myself increasingly frustrated with this show, and from the lack of posts here these days, I'm not alone. I know even when Jane was on, we found things to talk about and now...not so much. It isn't even that I hate most of the characters-we are given so many old and new, that it's easy to find some in each episode that I like to watch. It's a number of things: quite frankly, some of the storylines going on right now, seriously just turn me off, big time.

Was that harsh? Oh well. I'd rather be harsh and honest, than pretend I don't mind some of what they are doing, and not be true to myself.

I think the fact that they seem to be doing S&C AGAIN, is the final straw that broke the camel's back for me.

That, and the threesome business. I just can't, and won't. Yes, I have the DVR button to skip through what I don't like, but at this point, I am doing so much skipping....might as well just skip the show altogether.

I hate to do that, because I am one that if I watch something, I watch it until the (sometimes) bitter end. But life is just too short to waste, TBH.

I will still check back in here from time to time, and may even read show recaps now and then, but as far as watching live or recording, I'm done, I think. If the Tracy/Luke storyline really picks up later, I may change my mind, but I don't think even they are enough to make me watch daily anymore.

So.....anyone here willing to post Q clips? Or do you know where they can be found?

My gosh I can't believe I haven't posted here in two weeks. Time flies, but at one point, I posted daily, as did Ms.Quartermaine. I can't decide if that's good or bad. Good that I am no longer so obsessed with Tracy, but sad, too. I also think that it's a commentary on the show itself, that there's just nothing to talk about. It's so much more balanced, but the cast is too big and the pacing is awful. We don't spend enough time at one stretch to get invested in any of the SL's. Or at least, I am having a hard time being invested and caring. I was about to say we need more relationships like Tracy/Dillon-so cool that you must have been thinking along those same lines, MsQ, since you posted those caps. That relationship had so much HEART, and that is a huge part of what the show is missing these days. However, with Ned around, hopefully we can get some of that heart with Tracy and her older son. Their scenes already elevate the episodes they are in. I just hate that they seem to be pushing Ned and Olivia for no other reason than that Olivia and Ned are both currently unattached. If he has to have one of Sonny's leftovers, I always felt Ned and Carly would be interesting, or Ned and Kate/Connie if she were alive. Olivia is just so dull to me, and thus far I don't really see any chemistry with the two of them.

SeanM, I don't think they'll "get rid" of vets- I think they'll just not show some of them for months on end, like with Lucy and Kevin, who haven't, to my knowledge, been seen since the nurse's ball.

Remos, exactly. I don't have a problem with Tracy being Tracy. The thing is, she isn't. It's one thing to be desperate for love, it's another thing to be completely blind and stupid. I don't mind her being manipulative as long as she's also vulnerable. If they want me to believe she's so in love with Luke she's swallowing all this because she needs him, then show me that. Show me she's so terrified of losing him that she is going along with his actions even though they are bizarre.

You know, Luke's always been a schemer, so I can even get that Tracy doesn't think much about him wanting into ELQ. It's kind of a huge part of what they are about. And also, he's always had a roving eye since being with her.

Add to that, the fact that the audience sees her as stupid...but we the audience KNOW what's going on. The other characters do not. I don't think "OMG my husband is not my husband" is a thought most people would think. So I can give Tracy slack on that.

But there's just something "off" about all of this. Even if Tracy thought everyone else was crazy, she's savvy enough to keep her eyes open. Yes, even if she's scared to death of losing Luke and being alone. Tracy is desperate for love. She's not STUPID and blind.

So that's why the story irritates me. They are making the character fit the plot, not the other way around.

And I just can't bring up sympathy for Alice, or much horror at Tracy blackmailing a dying woman. Alice would(and has) stabbed Tracy in the back/treated her like crap, more times than I can count. I have no use for Alice, and the "oh poor ALice" all these other characters are saying is making me roll my eyes.

Perhaps if she didn't go around putting people in headlocks for her own amusement, I'd feel differently.

Okay, I admit it. I cried yesterday when they were in the room with Rafe. I still don't get the point of killing him off, only to have his heart rejected.

Ms.Q- I thought the part about the reason for the rejection of the heart was so STUPID. The only reason I can think heroin would be an issue, is if the user used a needle, and that the heart could be possibly diseased with something they might not detect at first. HIV, etc.

But Rafe had no track marks.

So....I don't get it. Any medical savvy people, can you explain? Or is it just idiotic dramatic license?

I guess I just don't understand the point of having Rafe being brain dead and Alice needing a donor, only for him NOT to be a match.

Unless Nina unplugs Rafe to make sure he doesn't wake up-she might believe he will after those hallucinations.

Still, it just seems dumb. I could understand the dramatic tension of Alice getting a heart if she were a major character and we were left wondering if she was going to die. But she isn't a major character. She's been around for years and yet, we hardly know Alice. And what I know....I don't like.

Who is so emotionally attached to Alice, that they'd cry if she died? I guess there may be some people, but I find it unlikely. I can't even cry for Rafe, and his death or possible death is much sadder than losing Alice IMO because of the tragedy of the situation and his young age.

This show. It's just a series of random events with no feeling attached. SO disappointing. I will say, that Nina's screaming at Rafe yesterday, was the first time I felt Michelle Stafford did a decent job acting wise, in playing Nina. Up until now, I've felt she was very flat and stiff. It's about time we see this character feel some guilt over her actions.

I am looking forward to the Morgan/Tracy.

They are fun! If he were twenty years older......uh huh. I would ship it.

I just wish Jane could get decent material. Sometimes, I miss the hijinks. I don't think Tracy is evil, nor do I care, if she DOES end up blackmailing Alice. Don't like Alice, never did, never will...but the reason IDC what Tracy does to her, is because I know Alice would do the same thing or worse in the same position. If Tracy had stolen ELQ from Michael and the situation was reversed, I don't believe for a minute that Alice would warn Tracy that Michael was trying to steal it back. She's put Tracy in headlocks, she's done other blatant things to disrespect her...and I'm supposed to have sympathy for this character because she gets on her moral high horse about what Tracy is doing?

I just see Tracy trying to take back,(albeit in an underhanded way) what was taken from her in an also underhanded way. The way I see it, the only villain here is Fuke.

I think Alice is almost as unsympathetic a character as Tracy is being right now. And truthfully, the only reason I have any sympathy for Michael is because he just isn't in Tracy's league. Yet. He might not have wanted to hurt Tracy, but he certainly didn't try to stop the takeover, and he really sort of deserves whatever he gets as well.

As far as the cellular memory thing being too deep.....I hope I am wrong about it, purely for the fact that Bergen Williams isn't all that as an actress. She really can't handle deep material. I still can't help but think it's too convenient not to mean something down the road.

Oh, and MsQ, yes I liked that (do Morgan and Tracy have a squish name LOL) moment. Tracy likes him. There's no way she'd just stand there and let him say that, otherwise.

Then again....no way would Tracy be as stupid as she's been since Fuke began.

hooked, you may be right, but they could have done *real* fluff or just ignored the Q's altogether while TG was gone. That's the usual MO of the past few summers. They could have also just had Rafe and Molly go on the run (that might have been fun, every soap needs a teens on the run story now and then). But killing him off and giving Alice the heart? (if that happens)

I can't help but think that Alice specifically having Rafe's heart is going to lead to something. However, this is the same show that just makes the characters stupid in order to move a plot along, so eh. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

halee...I was thinking the same thing. THIS is what the Q's are reduced to? Not that I mind Morgan being there. I like his chemistry with them. Kind of dumb though, that the show paid Wally to show up and he wasn't at the hospital. Maybe he will be later this week?
