  1. I agree it was a phenomenal episode. But I can't understand why some of you didn't actually 'get' the controversial Yang "I'm free!" scene. (If me and the other person who commented on this did, lol, but I think we did). OBVIOUSLY, she thought she could never commit, which is why she chose the words "I'm free..." It was her older self talkling about the situation. But she broke down and was having a FIT in her wedding dress and choker becauase they reminded her of what she had lost. That she finally DID want to go there. That much was clear -- that she loved Burke and wanted to spend the rest of her life with him -- when Meredith didn't notice Burke had gone, but Yang did. She pointed out the trumpet and all those other things that made Burke, Burke. She was in love with him. She was MADLY in love with him. And she wanted to get married. BADLY. Sadly, he left her (I still don't get why he did, since it was obvious he was spewing BS as SHE DID want to marry him), which left her "free," in her older self's mind -- but that didn't mean she liked it. Those were the only terms she could put it in. That's the only way she could phrase it.

    TRULY HEARTBREAKING episode.

  2. Wow, count me in for a MAJOR disagreement with those who didn't enjoy the episode.

"Grey's," last night, proved to me why people don't need drugs. They have "Grey's."

I mean, NO show has been more emotional, funny, heartbreaking and poignant in JUST ONE HOUR than last night's show.

And to those who weren't affected by Meredith's mommy dying, think again. It's powerful and devastating because EVERYONE knows they weren't on good terms, and finally, mother and daughter have found closure.

The line, "You are ANYTHING but ordinary" gave me [!@#$%^&*] CHILLS, people!

I died at that moment. And, like Meredith, was revived.

    It was SO POWERFUL!!!

I'm not a Denny/Izzy fan but damn, that ending was HOT. And sweet. And tragic!!!

DEAR GOD, THIS SHOW IS SO PERFECT!!!

BEST ONE HOUR of dramedy all season long. BAR NONE!!!

  3. But like I said before, meredith is not dead, her time of death was never called. Its obvious we aren't going to agree on this issue, to each his or her own. :)

Well, I agree with you in that they're just ghosts or hallucinations -- if she's not dead.

But perhaps the doctors are wrong; Meredith really did die, but they just didn't 'catch' it -- or call it. So then that would make them afterlife people.

It could go either way in this kind of scenario.

  4. But Denny and the other guy are still dead, which makes them ghosts. Even if its an hallucination, it doesn't make them alive, they are still dead.

I see what the others are driving at, actually.

Ghosts are only ghosts to those who are LIVING.

If in fact Meredith is dead, then she's not a ghost, a "vision" to Denny and Pink mist guy (I love how we call him that ). No, they're after-life people. They're angels. They're...SOMETHING. But they're not ghosts.

  5. Meredith ain't dying. Next weeks episode title is "Some Kind of Miracle" ;)

    And...

All of the original interns along with Wilson, Pickens Jr, and Washingon, all have multi year contracts.

Highlight for the person that supposedly dies....

=====>Meredith does "die" but will be revived and her mother Ellis will be the permanent death.<=====

    I can't believe I read that!!

    I'm a [!@#$%^&*] IDIOT!!!

I hate myself for reading that spoiler that is in light font!!

Oh my GOD, I ruined it, forever!!! I ruined it all!!!

  6. Of course they're not going to kill off Meredith. You can't off the "Grey" in "Grey's Anatomy." That would be totally insane.

That was nice of NBC to loan Kyle Chandler to ABC. I was shocked by the ending.

I hated Izzie's "I believe" speech too. What was up with that?

Loved the entire cast being there for one character at the end. It's really an amazing ensemble.

The last 10 minutes was so emotional.....my throat was very dry....almost cried....but didn't. I love my Meredith.

More like SHOCKING!!! who in GOD'S NAME saw Kyle Chandler coming to ABC? I'm still FLOORED BY THAT, more than anything else.

And I'm sorry to tell you Toups, but Shonda is TOTALLY killing off Meredith. It's sad but true. I'm so pissed off about it too!!! :(

  7. I thought the last 15 minutes were fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The Rest was blah.

Tonight's proved what Grey's does best...and gimmicks and big disasters are just not it - at least not anymore. The last ten minutes of scenes were CHILLING. And heartbreaking.

I doubt Meredith will die, but Pompeo can easily stay on the show if she does. She can just narrate from heaven. ;)

OH, dear GOD, no!!! I don't want another Mary Alice situation. That works ONLY for "Desperate Housewives," thankyaverymuch!!!

Meredith, while I hated her last year for being such an unsympathetic drunken slut, MUST LIVE!!

Please, Shonda! Don't be stupid!!! DON'T kill of Grey, or I bet A LOT of people will storm ABC studios! Just you watch!! We will NOT take this lying down.

  8. Another great show tonight.

And HOLY F.U.C.K at the ending!!! Did NOT see that coming!

That scared the [!@#$%^&*] out of me. It was just SO shocking, and what made it even MORE shocking was Kyle Chandler's presence, when EVERYBODY knows he plays a character on "Friday Night Lights" -- on a freaking RIVAL NETWORK. :o :o :o

Again, this was just an other-worldly episode.

  9. Surely they won't let Meredith die, right?

You would think not, but let's face it: she was down there in the water WAY too long.

But let's forget about that for a second: I thought we were going to get a conclusion to the whole story behind that freaky little girl. But hermom found her and that was it. I thought someone in this VERY thread hinted there was more to the story?! There's not!@ We'll never know if she's deaf or mute or just a mean little [!@#$%^&*]!

    Shonda? I am LIVID!

  10. OKAY show. Wasn't overly impressed, but I liked it. They could have gotten better extras for the grieving parts though.

The preview with Sandra Oh, has me SCURED! :D

Um, "okay" show?!!! With that SHOCKER SOAP OPERA CLIFFHANGER, you say "Okay" show?!!!

    YEAH, RIGHT!

The words "shocking, unbelievable, PHENOMENAL television event" come to mind!

    That was just INSANE!

    A roller coaster ride!!!

Although I'm STILLstressed over Meredith's SO going to die.

  11. HOLY MARY, MOTHER OF GOD!!!

They weren't kidding when they said the ending you would NEVER see coming!!!

The bomb squad guy and then Denny showing up out of nowhere!!!

    DEAR GOD!!

And how did they even GET Kyle chandler?!! How the hell did NBC let him appear of that show?!!!

Dear God!!! Poor Meredith!!! She is REALLY going to die.

"The devastating conclusion" of Grey's...they're preparing us!!1

This is crazy! Absolutely CRAZY! I used to hate Mer and called her things like MereSlut and MereHO, because she was such a HO!!! But now...I LIKE her!!

SHONDA, WHY!!! DEAR GOD ABOVE, WHY?!!! WHY ARE YOU [!@#$%^&*] DOING THIS TO ME? TO MEREDITH?!!! TO MILLIONS OF GREY'S FANS?!!!@#$%@#%@#% :(

  12. I know this isn't "Passions," but is anyone else feeling that Meredith is somehow psychic? That she has a "connection?" Let's be honest, the last "Grey's" BIG TICKET story, "code black," she dreamed that she, Izzy and Yang were showering together...well, the hospital blew up and in the end of part II, she was showering with those women. Now, what do we see? She feels like drowning in the beginning...now the [!@#$%^&*] is falling in the ocean! It's just NOT a coincidence. I seriously think, even if Shonda doesn't go 'there,' that Meredith has the proverbial "Third Eye."
