Well...as I see it...we have three events coming up...all perfect for climaxing some of these stories.

    1) Sonny/Valentin shipment

    2) Portia/Curtis on Jan 15...a month from now and just perfectly time with Spencer's release I see.

    3)Anna/Valentin/Scorpio/Laura vs Victor

It should come to a head in February if they are going to have to write out Valentin because JPS is filming Villains for the Disney Channel again. It was in February last year when Valentin disappeared for two months with no explanation till over a month later when Anna told Drew that Valentin was at a clinic because he got an infection from his gun shot wound, which eventually ended up being a half truth. Valentin was at the clinic but for only a week before he was off doing Victor's bidding off screen.

Thank you for the hi-res pictures. It's going to take some getting used to.

Does anyone know when the Neighbours episodes that were filmed after the lockdown will start airing?

Apparently at the end of last week per Twitter. They held some kind of event for a character and people pointed out how light the crowd was and certain characters that they were expecting to be there that weren't. Most likely due to the new guidelines.

  3. This is going to be really, really bad. I could see soaps not being in production till the summer in the best case scenario. When it  slows down finally  in the LA area, it will probably feel like a massive earthquake hit them. Who knows how long it will take the area to recover and for TV shows to be ok to go back into production.

ETA: It wouldn't surprise me if the start of the traditional  fall season is pushed back this year. Shows won't premiere till early next year and will have shortened seasons.

Phelps/Guza had stronger scripts, better plots and stories, infinently better acting and characters and production values than we are seeing today.  However, the characters featured to the detriment of everybody else drove me away as a viewer. But I have enough distance from the product to see that while not for me, it was better written and acted and produced.

Their events and stunts were amazing.  The train crash, panic room, Metro Court crisis, contagion, all exciting stories and excellent episodes.

The problem was their orbit was Sonny, Jason, Carly, and to a lesser extent, Luke, Scrubs, and a female character of the moment (Courtney, Brenda, Lulu).  If you weren’t tied to those people, none of the stories had a point of view away from them.  And by the end of their time together, it was really Jason that everything revolved around.  He pushed Sonny from the central spot.  It was awfully hard to watch a soap daily when those are the only stories featured.

Yep. The events were great. The cast integration during those events was always fun. But GH would always make the mistake of going back to the Sonny, Carly, Jason show when the event was over. It's why they always came close to B&B in the ratings during that time but could never tie or maybe even pass B&B in the ratings. It was so maddening.

  5. Watched the clip again. It looks like Luke was trying to get away from Burt in the action sequence. I think the other guy in the suit that Robert had a hold on was the goon from Holly's family. I don't think he was with Burt.

One that stand out in my mind is Luke running through the amusement park through rides and obstacle courses from the bad guys from one reason or another. Anyone remember where that is from?

Yes because I just watched it a couple of weeks ago.  It was from the oil scam Holly was in on with her family.  Luke & Robert  trying save Holly b/c I think her uncle and cousin were after her for not cooperating the way they thought she should.  Here's the link. Starts about 39 minutes in. Bert was after them, too so I think it was mixture of them dodging her family's goons and the police.

  7. According to Wolf Blitzer, Democrats are already panicked over the prospect of having to face political weakling Romney:

Yeah well Wolf works for CNN which is Fox News South. Not to mention, there is no guarantee that Mitt will make it through the primaries. For Mitt to make it through the primaries, he has to hope more moderates vote than the crazies on the far, far right which in this political climate is easier said than done.
